Nice reliable car

We bought this car with thirty thousand miles on it. We live this car and fight over which one of us can take this one. Decent gas mileage, comfy. All the windows roll down, and lots of trunk room. Runs smoothly and the power is decent. We did have two minor issues a throttle body which was inexpensive and they recalled after we fixed it and then a gas tank issue which was also on a recall they fixed at no charge. Both were known issues on the 2010 and hopefully already fixed if you buy this car.

Comfortable

With a 6 cylinder engine at 76000 miles car runs good. Just repaired Vacuum leaks and gas cap as well as timing solenoids other than that no other repairs with car other than regular maintenance. Car paint is wearing off

Ford Fusion Hybrid

Overall I enjoy driving this car around town. The pluses include a rear view camera, side mirror alert when a car is in your blind spot, heated leather seats and because it's a hybrid I think our miles per gallon are higher than a regular engine. Anyway the downside of the car is that in long distance driving the driver's seat gives me a pain in my hip and my husband is uncomfortable in the driver or passenger seat even on fairly short trips and especially driving in stop and go traffic. Since I am not bothered on short trips I usually drive this car but it is not the best choice for over 90 minutes of driving. This may not be everyone's experience but for this reason we will never buy another Ford Fusion. Also we have had the car 6 years and in the 5th year we had a pretty expensive repair ( >$1000) that was the module that controlled the radio and air conditioning and navigation system. We HAD to get it fixed because we needed air conditioning for So Cal weather but it seemed unfortunate that so many systems were negatively impacted by this one module.

The Fusion

This car has been great in performance...gets up and goes to enter the freeway...even for a 4-cylinder! Repairs have been minimal. It has capacity for lots of luggage...seats fold down in the back seat.

2010 Ford Fusion

I have driven Mercedes, Cadillac for a number of years. This Fusion is one of thee best cars that I have owned. It has every conceivable feature including even a hard drive for recording as much music or talking books that you desire. This car when bought was years ahead of it's time. Totally voice activated among other things. Coded key entry, back up camera etc., etc., etc.. Only 52000 miles but might consider selling. Interested?

A Great and Reliable Ride!

We purchased a new 2010 Fusion Hybrid in August 2009 and have traveled through all 48 contiguous states, many of them several times. We just completed the 230,000 mile service and, once again, received a clean bill of health. During our travels, we averaged nearly 40 mpg and are still running on the original high voltage hybrid battery, with no apparent degradation! Vehicle reliability has been nothing short of great! Over more than 231,000 miles, the only unexpected repair was a radiator replacement due to a non-repairable leak. With routine maintenance at 10,000 mile intervals, maintenance costs have been very low. Overall, we've been so happy with this Fusion Hybrid that we bought a second one! Virtually every Ford dealer we've stopped at for service during our travels has been blown away by the miles on the car and its condition.

Our kind of car

Stingy with fuel, especially for frequent short trips, peppy when that is needed, comfortable for longer trips - what else do we want?

dependable car

My car is extremely dependable and affordable to maintain. I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. The fusion is a great family car, great on mileage.

2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid at 200,000+ Miles and Still Running Like New!

We purchased our 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid in August 2009 after considering the other similar size hybrid sedans that were available at the time. My wife and I have made dozens of cross country trips, both east-west and north-south. The car has averaged 39-41 mpg overall. Maintenance has been far less than several previous cars we had purchased new. The ride and reliability have been so impressive that we bought a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid with all of the latest technology and safety features. We expect to keep driving our 2010 hybrid for at least another 50,000 miles. We're very happy and proud to be part of the Ford family!
