This car is fantastic

Genesis continues to impress with their sedan line. This is the second Genesis car I have bought. The benefits of getting your car serviced and providing a loaner or concierge service cars cant be beat. The pricing stands head and shoulders above their competitors. Thank you GENESIS

Super smooth ride, and stylish

I had a XG and an Azera, loved both cars! The Genesis has not disappointed us at all! Dealership is the best we've ever had! Test drove 2 other Lexus and 3 other Genesis before deciding. Also months ahead of time watched the promotions and bodies online.

Genisis G80 Sport

This is a large modern luxury car with plenty of room for adults in the back seat. Performance level is good, but not great, although turbo lag is noticeable from a standing start. Interior is very nice and the stereo is great. Voice recognition works surprisingly well (best I have ever used). I have high hopes for the Htrac next winter as I live in Northern Ohio. My wife is very pleased with this car in general.

Best Purchase Made

The G80 3.3t does not disappoint! From the comfort and space of a four door sedan to the speed, power, and agility of a german made vehicle, this vehicle has it all. If I would do anything different, I would purchase the AWD next time. Siberian Ice color was not my first color though now I believe was the best option/choice Thank you

Hidden Gem

I knew little about Genesis until I consulted Consumer Reports, which rated it #1 among mid-size luxury cars. I was previously a Mercedes owner, but I was very impressed when I test drove the Genesis G80. More room than Mercedes E-Class, much quieter ride, smooth gear shifting, and a significantly lower price. I have been very pleased with the car over the last 3 months since I purchased it.

You get all the fine points of luxury in a quality car, but the performance and handling of a sports car. Great blend of both, and looks great This is my second Genesis and the quality and service is second to none. Would buy again and am very excited to drive the new GV80

Genesis G80 has a comfortable and functional interior. The engine is strong and responsive. The ride is quite and smooth. The Genesis Connected Services allow the owner to monitor the entire car status while at home through a mobile device. I very much recommend this car.

My complements to the engineers for the decided improvements over 2017 G80. The ride is improved, the interior seems roomier, I enjoy the touch screen. The very very disappointment is no CD , I know! The whole world has.gone crazy with MP3 and cell phones.HURRUMPH!!! I am 87 and doing all I can to make myself keep up, woe, woe . I dont worship cars like I did when I was younger. Now, I just enjoy being seen in an expensive luxury machine. Are those enough characters??

2020 G80 5.0 V8 Ultimate

I recently took delivery of a 2020 G80 5.0 V8. It's the last year of the current generation. This car is very impressive in so many ways. So many features and such a beautiful interior. The outward visibility when parking is limited, however, once you get to trust the cameras, it's not a big issue. I don't have to turn around and look backwards like I used to. This car has big, useable, SMOOTH V8 power, especially in Sport mode. Acceleration and passing is EFFORTLESS. Cruising on the highway in Eco mode, it's super-economical. I've been filling up with Premium gas due to low prices, but it also runs fine on regular, it just makes maybe 10HP less. The 3.3 twin turbo V6 is very nice too, but I like the V8 better. The base 3.8 V6 is no slouch, either. Super-adjustable, comfortable, heated/cooled seats, nice smooth ride, great features and a killer sound system. Great warranty, including all maintenance. Very high build quality, plus better reliability than the German competitors, for MANY THOUSANDS LESS ! Unless you're a "brand-slave" to Mercedes/BMW/Audi, check out the 2020 Genesis G80. The 2021 is a much different car, with no V8 option and more electronics, less buttons. Very pretty exterior styling, though. I like the 2020 better, especially with the V8 and nicer interior, in my opinion. I like that you don't have to use the screen for common controls. Check out a 2020 G80, any model. You will be pleasantly surprised !

My Genesis

Like the car very much tho visibility while driving somewhat restricted. Love the heads up display. All controls placed very conveniently. Would like a more comfortable ride. Very attractive styling. Would like better fuel economy and less road noise in the cockpit.

Fantastic!

This is our second Genesis. Our 2010 is a 4.6 litre V8 and it still works great but we needed the flexibility of another car. This new 2020 is the 5.0 litre V8 and we highly recommend the bigger engines for maneuverability in traffic and climbing hills. We really enjoy the total package and we like the selection of features on the car. We do not use all of them but appreciate having the option. However, we do miss the air-conditioned driver seat that the 2010 has. It was replaced on the 2020 with only ventilation. In Phoenix in the summer it DOES make a difference.

A great car to drive, loaded with many safety features at a very attractive price point. Car design is very attractive, with the interior surroundings. Love the 5.0 engine & performance. Took us a while to.learn the infotainment system. We are enjoying the sound quality connected to Apple play.

The Genesis G-80 looks, feels and performs like the high end luxury sedan it is, providing all the amenities of luxury sedans cost twice as much. It comes with exceptional connected services, including automatic collision notification, roadside assistance, emergency assistance and much more. It further comes with remote door lock/unlock, remote start and climate control, stolen vehicle slowdown/immobilization & recovery just to name a few safety and security features. Most importantly it carries the best warrantee in the industry

G80 Sport AWD is excellent. Drives great and looks amazing

This is my second Genesis I have owned and I am very satisfied. The look of the 2020 Sport edition is outstanding. The grill and rims make this car look so much better than previous models. Drives better than my 2015, but seems to have a bit too much highway noise in comparison to my first one. Overall a great value and worth a look.

Terrible dealership experience

Dealership took advantage of my age and memory loss . Now paying more than $200 a month than previous. Put $4,000 down at the dealerships request. I have leased or purchased five vehicles from this dealership, and feel I was taking advantage of this time

Top vehicle in the price range

Previous vehicle was a 2007 Hyundai Genesis v-V8. Great car with exception of electrical system. Traded for 2018 lease of G80. Greater vehicle with slight electrical issues. I can only give Genesis the highest of accolades. Drives and rides like a 6 digit vehicle.

Outstanding Value

I am very happy with the technology available in this vehicle. The appearance is very impressive and the safety features outstanding. The comfort for the driver and passengers unparalleled. The ride is better than my 2011 Genesis but not as comfortable as my previous Mercedes.

Genesis is wonderful!

I love my Genesis G80. Its the second one for me and I can see the efforts for improving this car in real time. The ride is smooth, the handling fun and the gas milage is outstanding. I love the look of the vehicle, the warranty, and the outstanding service I get from Taylor Hyundai. I highly recommend this car! It's an outstanding value!

Problems

I contacted Genesis support re problems and requested factory rep. check out the problem, they referred me back to dealer who eventually took care of braking vibration but did nothing other than road test drive train problem . I am no longer satisfied with GENESIS and will move on after I take decided action.
