Restyled Genesis G80

Great looking car. Everything I expected and more. I'll probably stick with Genesis in the future. I've said a lot and spent 2 hours on this survey for you. DON'T force me to say more except: As I've said, it's a great car. Probably the nicest car I've ever driven!

G80 - outstanding Sedan

I love the G80, this is my second Genesis G80. Outstanding styling and performance. The interior is high quality with awesome styling. The service is best in class, they pick up your car and drop off a loaner. All maint is included for 3 yr 36k miles.

Genesis of Cherry Hill

It's not about the quality of the car to the dealership, it's about "sell, sell,sell, we'll deal with the expected maintenance issues through our non-compassionate service department. With the multitude of issues I've had with this brand new car, one would think they'd really go above and beyond to satisfy me as a repeat customer. NOT!!!

The Perfect Midsize Sedan

I was replacing my Mercedes when I happened upon the Genesis G80. I cannot say enough positive things about this car. It is a real head turner and a joy to drive. I am looking forward to my next Genesis purchase. A real luxury car that will beat everything in its class.

2022 Genesis G80

My car was supposed to come with 2 key fobs. dealership could not locate the 2nd key fob. dealership scheduled my 1st maintenance visit for 3 months after i had car. they told me at that service they would have my 2nd key fob. I called service department to verify my service appt and they had no date for me. the salesman forgot to let the service dept know. I called genisis up at crown genesis in st petersburg fl to find out when i could get my 2nd key fob. they told me they would have to order it. 3 months go by and not a peep from the dealership. i am on vacation in NC over the 4th of july. On the 4th of July, i wen out to my car from hotel and couldn't unlock car because key fob battery was dead. had to call locksmith to come to hotel and unlock my car. Cost me approx $150 to get car unlocked and new battery for key fob. when i got home i called crown genesis again to inquire about my 2nd key fob. they told me they would have to order it and when it came in they would call me. As of today, November 30th, I have heard nothing from crown genesis in St Petersburg, FL. I will never buy a car from that dealership again. They are a bunch of liars. What a JOKE!!!! If Genesis corporate saw this message i would expect i would have my 2nd key fob immediately. I can be reached at 941-356-3502...Jack Cochran

Good car. Dealerships lie and mislead customers, dealerships don’t honor valet maintenance pickup, and customer service is full of empty promises.

Good car overall. The Genesis promises a lot of value for the money but the dealerships lie and mislead you to sell your old vehicle and purchasing you receive the same treatment, dealerships don’t honor valet service pickup, genesis customer service is full of empty promises. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to purchase a Genesis.

Great value for the money

The Genesis G80 has the style, performance, luxury and options that mimic a Mercedes, Lexus, or an Audi. But when it comes to the cost of maintenance, the Genesis G80 costs much less over time. Be prepared to be the recipient of numerous compliments.

Love My 2022 G80

I absolutely love my car. It handles great and is beautiful. The cooled seats work great especially in Arizona. The service is another story. I hope that gets fixed soon or I will purchase a different luxury vehicle next time. I am hoping you build a Genesis dealership in Phoenix soon.

So far I have not enjoyed my car . It has brought me nothing but aggravation

You need to get better service people to solve the problems the first time. My car has been in for service since may 2022. Every time it was returned to me the same things happened within a day or two. No one is sure of the problem and it seem to me that it is all guess work and no one really knows what they are doing. Very very unhappy!

Very impressed with Genesis. This is my 3rd Genesis. 2016 2019 2022

This is my 3rd Genesis.. Very impressed with the previous 2016 & 2019 (both 3 year leases) I’m not 100% satisfied with this body style (2022 G80)... and I do my my 2019 G80.. Very impressed it’s the handling & comfort. Not satisfied with the average MPG. I was expecting a better mileage per gallon results. I’m looking forward to seeing the electric version of the G80...

AWESOME!

I bought the new Genesis based on experience with my 2015 Genesis. In 70000 miles, it never broke at all and was only at dealership for maintenance and service. When I sold it, it still looked new - no wear on interior, exterior was still perfect. I awaited the new one just as I had my ‘15 because I saw lots of advanced pictures on the web and in magazines. I loved the design and the audacious color palette, especially the blue/brown interior. When the red with red interior came out, I was READY. I love my new Sport Prestige. The design is unique and the wheels are unbelievable - many compliments. I painted my calipers lime green and striped it in yellow and lime green. Incredible! In 2800 miles, it has been very impressive. I don’t like the engine sound; it sounds like a hive of flatulent honeybees but the performance is good, but I do miss my V8.

This vehicle is exceeds all expectations of a luxury sedan. Fit and finish is remarkable. Performance is unmatched. Comfortable and fun to drive. We chose this vehicle over Lexus, BMW 5 series, and Mercedes E Class. Genesis / Hyundai hit a home run with this model. Sheer opulence.

2022 Genesis G80 Advanced

G80 is a quite big & luxurious when it comes to similar priced sedans compared to Audi A4-A5 & Mercedes C-class. Its interiors are covered with leatherette & seats are extremely comfortable & ventilated. Engine is 300HP so there is no need to worry about speed & performance. All in all, it is a pretty cool car with a mix of luxury & power for a very decent price.

The interior is exceptional. The look and feel of the vehicle is outstanding. The genesis G80 prestige is an absolute bargain for the price point...especially compared to the German luxury sedans. I am on my second G80, and will most likely will be buying another one in a few years.

They must not want you to do the survey. Not everyone has 250 character worth of descriptors. But that's ok. Have not had vehicle long enough to give a full review. Hopefully they stand behind the vehicle the way they claim. I guess time will tell how this will go.

Impressive

Very impressed with the G80. With the 50/100k warranties, included options, price and concierge service European cars couldn’t compare and we’ve had both BMW 5 series and Mercedes E class. Particularly like the touch screen and the option to personalize each drivers preferences from seat to radio/satellite stations, interior lighting. The list goes on. Truly Amazing.

Best value mid-size luxury vehicle on the market

My current vehicle is a 2022 Genesis G80 AWD 3.5T Sport Prestige. My previous car was a 2019 Genesis G90. I've owned BMWs (3s,5s & Zs), Mercedes, Jaguars, & Lincolns. The styling, build quality and comfort of the Genesis vehicles far exceeds any of those previous vehicles. I am very pleased with both the vehicle and the service provided by my dealer. Everyone should, at least, evaluate the Genesis range before making a new car purchase decision.

Smooth vehicle

I like the all inclusive approach of a Prestige package. The car had almost all the features I wanted and everything works as advertised. The car looks great and rides like a champ. It has a very strong (powerful) 4 cylinder engine that can accelerate as if it had a V6.

Love this car. Amazing performance and comfort. Very fun to drive! Best value medium sized luxury sedan on the market plus much more reliable than all the other options. Love the concierge service for maintenance. Also love the vehicle styling. Great ride!

THE VEHICLE TAKES THE STRESS OUT OF DRIVING. THE CAMERAS MAKE ME FEEL MUCH SAFER, AWARE OF THE VEHICLES AROUND ME AT ALL TIMES IN MANY WAYS. iT IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE DRIVERS SEAT I HAVE EVER HAD IN OVER 50 YEARS OF DRIVING. DRIVING IS FUN AGAIN. IT IS VERY QUIET IN THE INTERIOR, VERY LITTLE ROAD NOISE.
