Genesis GV-80

The GV-80 far exceeded my expectations. I am very satisfied and thoroughly enjoy driving it. My previous vehicle was a Lexus. The bar was very high. However, The dealerships need a lot help. Was very disappointed when I purchased my new vehicle. Genesis has a long way to go to equal the Lexus experience.

Clarence GV80

Overall I like mostly everything about my GV80 but I do have one issue after purchasing the GV80 a week later I noticed a paint blemish about the size of a silver dollar near the windshield on the passenger side of the vehicle. The paint issue was never resolved!

My GV80 Experience

I have been driving my 2021 Genesis GV80 since January 5,2021. I had been following the development of the vehicle going back to 2019. I find this luxury vehicle to be stylish, safe, and filled with technology. I enjoy driving it and I am constantly asked about it wherever I go.

Excellent Car

The seats should be the same for both the driver and passenger. The car should also have a spare tire, which I ordered a year ago and still do not have. I ordered the spare tire from the dealership in Metairie, LA and they have not called me about the tire yet that was paid in full for. No one from the dealership has reached out to me as of yet.

Exceeded Expectations!

We love our GV80 and has definitely exceeded our expectations. The GV80 constantly turns heads and sparks conversations. It has great performance, handling and is a pleasure to drive. We’ve taken our Genesis one a few roadtrips and back to NJ from Nashville and the adaptive cruise control is on par with that of my Tesla’s autopilot. Highly recommend this vehicle!

The saleswoman was so easy to work with. I love all the new technology in this GV80. Especially the camera for turning and changing lanes.

I have driven and owned all models of cars over the years and this is by far the nicest one. From the styling of the exterior to the beautiful layout of the interior. It is all easy to use. The ride is amazing. Performance and handling are top quality.

Love my GV80

Best car I have ever owned! Can't wait to take a trip.....so much fun to drive. The looks are outstanding......engine is excellent! Outstanding vehicle! I have recommended it to all of my friends. It's fun to be a Genesis owner. This is my 3rd Genesis. Owned G80 and G90 (Traded my G90 for the GV80).

Parts department is under staffed. Waited on the phone over 20 minuts evertime my husband called to finf out about a part he ordered and having nothing but problems ordering the part. The salesman and manager was great but the parts department needs some help.

Amazing car but terrible service from my local

My car is great! The ease of driving and comfort in interior is great. The touch screen is easy to work and self explanatory However, local dealers is terrible -I Am So disappointed in service. I was sold in the ease of service and no one ever mentioned that The concierge service was only if you purchased at your local dealership.

Worthy first attempt

4th Genesis car love satisfied with them all. This new SUV is quite an achievement especially considering it’s a first attempt. All my Genesis cars were good cars. Well, designed, engineered and assembled. Other than gas milage I have no complaints and considering the power available it's acceptable.

GENESIS GV80

This is by far the BEST current vehicle I have ever owned!!! It reminds me of the Oldsmobile 98 Regency that I bought back in 1972. However, the new cars today have WAY TOO MUCH plastic in them. BUT, not this Genesis GV80. It has been excellent from day one with ZERO problems!!! The quietest vehicle I have ever owned!!! I highly recommend this SUV to everyone without any reservations!!!

Not quite sure yet

A few issues here and there. Bluetooth feature is horrible, I seem to not be heard from caller. Wireless charger doesn’t work, you have to “play with it” till it finally decides to work. However, Nice little luxury car with tons of safety features and a fun ride

Best SUV for its value.

Love the ride and comfort, sound system is one of the best on the market. Build quality, stying is outstanding. Engine performance is great. This is my 5th Genesis and the best so far. I plan on buying the new G90 in 2023 when it become available to USA. Great SUV so far…

Upgrade vehicle

The vehicle appearance is outstanding. I loved it when I first saw one and wanted to have it. An opportunity presented itself when my daughters vehicle was totaled by a deer and they assumed ownership of my Palisade. Smooth running vehicle and it's my primary vehicle.

All star vehicle

I have owned 2-G80's, 4-G90's and a GV80. All excellent vehicles and keep getting better. I suggest you get on line and research the features of the one your are interested in and if you are liking what you see, then go look , drive, compare and decided.

Sweet Ride

What can I say? I love this thing! From the subtle but rich quilted green leather interior to match the Cardif Green paint, always give a backward glance when I walk away. One of the head designers of the GV80 designed the Bentley Bentayga earlier in his career. I think the Bentayga was good practice, but his team got it right with the GV80. Sweet ride indeed.
