GV80

I’ve owned Many cars from Honda to BMW, the 2017 Genesis G80 was the best I ever owned by far. I only hope and expect the 2021 GV80 will as good or better. The all. Wheel drive makes the GV80 very stable in all driving conditions. To get this much car at this price is amazing.

Totally satisfied

Great purchase. This was definitely the vehicle I wanted. The purchase was seamless. The representative was knowledgeable and engaging. I definitely recommend Genesis and the dealership. My first purchase in 2019 was a nightmare but I went back an my expectations were exceeded.

Just what I wanted!

Waited years for Genesis to produce a SUV - certainly worth the wait! Such a stylish, quality vehicle inside and out, that's fun to drive! My wife loves it as much as I do. Quite a list of comforts and features to satisfy even the most discriminating. Check it out, then get one for yourself.

Great Overall Value for Luxury Car

We were shopping to upgrade family SUV. Genesis offered the best features at an excellent price point as compared to other models like Acura, Infinity, Lexus, Mercedes. BMW etc. Genesis GV80 is well designed with most features that we were looking for.

GV80 Review

Overall my review of the New Genesis GV80 is a 9 out of 10 rating. Too early to have a 10/10 due to not having my GV80 for only a few months. Love the design of the exterior and interior. Most of the features are included on this model level which is to be expected at this price point. I had a Mercedes GLC300 which did not include as much as I thought it should have and it was a CPO 2020.

The BESTEST SUV available. (Bestest is way better than Besta)

250 words would not be enough to rate this amazing vehicle. My son convinced me to buy this over the same old Lexus cars we had been buying (and almost bought again). He convinced me that this was the best SUV in the world. I was looking for an SUV for the ease of getting in and out, and for seats that would support my lower back. I found these features in the Genesis GV80 3.5T. I am also convinced that the GV80 saved Tiger Woods after a serious car crash. I was thrilled to see him play at the PNC father-son tournament (and finish 2nd in a highly competitive environment. Tiger and his comeback convinced me a second time that I made the RIGHT decision buying a GV80 3.5T. Go Tiger Woods - the BEST; and go Genesis - the BESTEST.

A truly amazing vehicle

The GV80 was such a major surprise and Genesis did not miss a single detail. The interior and exterior system are show stoppers and I have never been stopped as much as I have with people asking about my GV80. Hats off to the designers and engineers for a superior product.

CAR EXPERIENCE UNUSALLY GOOD

great car, great style and great people SO FAR this experience is great, when I ask a question they answered reasonably quick sometimes it takes a while to get thru on the phone but they do call back in a reasonable time frame and so far everything is great and i would recommend the dealership and the car, Since I bought this one year ago there are 5 more in my neighborhood of this car

Great car for the money. Comfortable with nice creature comforts. Massage feature great for one's back. The dealership bent over backwards to make purchase easy and fast. Ride is smooth, quiet and solid. Braking assist is a collision avoidance plus.

GV80 - Great idea, Poor Execution

The top-of-the-line GV 80 Prestige Package does not come with a spare or a space saver spare, it does not come with run flat tires, it only has an inflation kit that does not work on a side wall flat. That is what I had on the fourth day I had my car. Further, Genesis contracts with AAA to do the Road Side Assistance but AAA, will not use the inflation kit even if it was a non-sidewall flat. Quite simply, Genesis North America leaves you stranded. Their Concierge Service representatives are all very nice but have no ability to get things done or handle the problem. Further, my navigation system has never worked properly and after time at both the dealer and with the concierge on the phone I still do not have a workable solution.

GV80 2021

The car is amazing! I get compliments wherever I go. The interior lighting is beautiful. However, Genesis lacks in good customer service. The biggest selling point is to be able to get a loaner car brought to you while you car is being serviced. I have had such a hard time trying to schedule an appointment. It has been 2 months.

Outstanding luxury SUV. Love styling. Love technology. Best looking car on the road. Recommend it to anyone. Only negative is fuel economy is average. Would buy again. Genesis is in a class of its own. Wish I could have two of them. My wife is jealous and may get one too.

2021 Genesis GV80 Prestige

I absolutely love this car and look forward to driving it. It is truly beautiful inside and out and every detail of this car has been well thought out. I have had one small issue since purchasing the vehicle but it was quickly and painlessly taken care of by my local dealer. I’ve been driving Toyota’s for the past 20 years and dependability is number one on my list but, I’m also realistic and understand that sometimes things happen. Genesis service has been top notch and was a pleasure to work with, the one time I needed them. This car is truly a pleasure and I’d purchase another Genesis in a heartbeat. The styling is unique and that’s exactly what I was wanting, something different than everyone else was driving. I’m constantly getting compliments on the beauty of this vehicle and everyone loves riding in it - especially me!

Great vehicle but what's missing ?

I absolutely love this vehicle from interior to exterior to engine, with one very glaring exception. The GV80 was designed WITHOUT A SPARE TIRE and WITHOUT RUN FLAT TIRES ! What a bad decision from your engineering department. It puts customers at risks and limits some travel.

We’re very satisfied with ours GV80. Very elegant looking fun to drive but one small problem is that. When the third row of seats are up not enough trunk space. We definitely will recommend to ours friends and family to own a Genesis. Hope Genesis will have it own dealership.

The Best SUV on Market at any Price

Great styling inside and out with super quality materials...the best quilted leather seats. Features all included in price. Simply the best vehicle out of more than 90 that we have owned including all the luxury brands i.e Cadillac Ferrari Bentley Maserati Infiniti. This is the absolute best quality styling and performance wrapped into one package.

I Love my GV80 - mostly

The overall driving experience is great. I was hoping for better noise cancellation even thought it is good most of the time, it fails on any road that has wear associated with it. The only real bad item is that if there is no vehicle in front of the car on adaptive cruise control and I approach a stopped car, it will start braking way too late and forces me to manually brake.
