Honda Ridgeline

It is the best car I have ever owned, no maintance at all in the first seven years after that it was mostly routine maintance. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone who doesn't need a full size truck, but needs something to haul things.

Greatest Vehicle Ever

I have 240,000 miles on my 2006 Honda Ridgeline and I have never had a problem. It drives smooth, quiet, has power and a really innovative passenger compartment. The back seats fold up and create a large storage area for equipment, dogs, you name it. And when you have company, you shove all your crap under and fold down the seats and they are as clean as they were the last time you washed them. The tail gate opens sideways and down which is a great convenience depending on where you are and what you are loading. The under bed trunk stays dry in all conditions and is a great place for valuables in the type of vehicle where you assume anything valuable will be in the cab. Maintenance wise, Honda is the best. I have kept up on maintenance and that truck has never had a problem. The only things that have gone wrong were very easy and inexpensive to fix. I have never been on the side of the road in 12 years. Great truck!

Could not ask for more

I have almost 200K on the best vehicle I have ever owned. Normal maintenance and oil changes using synthetic oil helps a lot. Prior to this truck I never kept anything past three years ever. I do have rust around the rear wheel wells that disappoints me a bit. It is 12 years old and I drive it 70 miles a day and 100 iles on Saturdays also. I will have the timing belt done with all the other stuff and I'm heading for 300K

I love my Honda Ridgeland truck . One of the best trucks I ever own . Plenty of room in the front and back . This truck will last for years . Very affordable Good sizes bed . I had it for 13 years and still turning heads

2006 HONDA RIDGELINE RTL

I BELIEVE THIS IS THE BEST TRUCK ON THE MARKET. POUND 4 POUND, DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR, HAULING, SEATING, HANDLING ... BEST TRUCK OUT THERE. HONDA RIDGELINE ....You can run this truck 1000 miles and stop only for gas, it doesn't get tired. I bought mine new 2006, has 153000 miles. Never required more than an oil and filter change every 3000 miles; and a water pump, radiator, and belts at 100k miles. Praised it so much my family bought two more. Now they too are hooked. Absolutely great truck.

Love my Truck

I purchased this truck in March 2006 and i have not regretted a min of it. For some reason the oils pressure went down had to replace the engine or buy another one. My 2006 has a new engine. Love it.

2006 Honda Ridgeline

I have owned different trucks in my life time... The Ridgeline is by far the best I have owned... With its all wheel drive it walks right across the snow with no slipping... Plenty of console spaces for my gear, fold up back seat for lager items, the V-6 Vortex gives plenty of power when needed... Large hidden trunk space under the bed... And talk about comfortable, it's like driving one of those big expensive cars... And the stereo cranks... But what I really like is the way the tail gate opens, it goes down like a traditional gate and also swings open like a door... No more reaching across the gate to pull things out of the bed... I also like the hardtop cover over the bed which I highly recommend... All in all a 5 star truck... Hey! It's a Honda!!!!!

Best Vehicle I Have Ever Owned

The title pretty much sums it up. Roomy, comfortable interior. Mechanically sound. Aside from routine maintenance and scheduled work, virtually zero problems. I tow, haul and take it on some pretty horrible "roads". 10 winters driving over Mt. Hood: Never a problem. Best winter rig. Four of my friends have bought them after riding in mind. That must say something. The trunk in the bed and the two-way tailgate should be in every pickup.

I NO LONGER RECOMMEND

Beware of possible very expensive mechanical repairs. EXAMPLE...Over $1800 for repair of a defective transmission cooler that ruptured inside the radiator. Causing the whole system to be flushed many times and water pump to be replaced. At dealership 4Xs. Many other problems with electrical issues.$$$$$$$$ I sent a letter to Honda to let then know my dissatisfaction and asked for a reply. NONE RECEIVED...

Great Truck

Love the Ridgeline At 160K have had very little maintenance required other than normal scheduled service. Perfect for multipurpose light truck use, occasional hauling, skiing, and general outdoor activities. Lockable in-bed trunk an outstanding convenience. Has been an excellent value. Rides comfortably, handles and accelerates well, adequate power for towing, and is rugged enough for back country off pavement roads. Limited rear visibility but newer model may have corrected that.

2006 Ridgeline

I am not a contractor, or a builder or need a truck for my business. I am a home owner and complete many projects on my own. I often need to pick up materials but I don't do that every day. This truck has been a very reliable and useful vehicle. The interior is very well appointed and the cabin is comfortable and quiet. The ability to lay down 4' x 8' sheets (plywood or sheetrock) in the bed makes it easy to pick up those materials for my home projects. The truck has been very reliable although I bought it used in 2010, the truck now has 206,000 miles and I intend to keep it for about two more years.

2006 RIDGELINE

I bought my Ridgeline new in 2005. I have been very happy with the performance and comfort of this vehicle. After 12 years and 80,000 miles I still like driving it. Of course it is not perfect. My only complaints are "poor gas mileage: 14.5 MPG on average. And it is kind of noisy at highway speeds. I like the looks of my 2006 R. but not so much the looks of the new one "2017". It looks like all the other pick-up trucks out there. The leather seats are comfortable and still in good shape after 12 years. I have never had a breakdown whereI needed a tow. It was well put together and stayed that way. This is our 4th Honda through the years and I very likely keep on buying HONDAS. All of them have been very reliable.

Best Vehicle I Have Ever Owned

I bought my 2006 Ridgeline new in August of 2006. To be brief, it is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I have about 140,000 miles on it. Aside from routine maintenance I have never had one problem with my truck. I tow, haul and have been places with it that you would not believe. I have crossed Mt. Hood over 100 times in the winter. I chained up once, only because a state trooper made me! It does great in ice, snow and rain. I love this truck and hope to keep it another 10 years. If Honda could do two things: offer a 6-foot bed and increase the towing capacity to 6500 pounds it would probably suit 95% of the truck owners out there. One other thing...four of my friends were so impressed that they went out and bought a Ridgeline.

My Truck

I think this is one of if not the best truck on market today. The comfort of the the ride is the same as the day I purchased. The trunk is a mans life saver in a truck.
