A fun but usable daily.

The N was my first leap into 'sport' car ownership. It maintains the usability of a sedan while adding tasteful styling cues so others know you're not driving just any basic economy car. Eco/Normal modes keep the car calm, quiet, and smooth. Sport and N modes turn the car into a totally different beast. The N mode exhaust is so exciting. For the money, this car really can do it all. Gas mileage isn't the greatest, but that isn't the point and it could be so much worse.

Its been a fun ride

If you want a cheap fun new sports car this is the one for you. Its a great daily. This car is for the car enthusiasts. This car you either love or hate depends on what you want. If you want a cheap commuter point A to B, soft and luxurious this isnt for you.

Should have gotten the Type R instead. Depreciates way too much.

Bought it brand new last year for around $40k and it's current value is $25k. On top of that, whatever software update you guys did messed up my steering wheel button configurations, and I have to adjust it everything I drive.

Fun, Sporty, Intelligent car

Great car, with great features. It’s quick, it’s fun, and you get the enjoyable of a lot fo intelligent features that come with it. There are minor improvements to be made with tiny issues that come after software updates, but overall car has done well. I’ve had no major issues at all in 2 years, if you take care of it. It’ll take care of you.

Super Fun Car... but many issues

The most fun to drive car I have owned to date. But... horn keeps not working (3 times it had to be fixed). Valve blew. Fuel pump recall. A strut needs to be replaced already. Being a car made for the track, the car should be put together much better. And no, I have not taken it to a track or driven it like a mad man.

Living la vida N mode

When I decided to purchase the Elantra N in November of 2023, I decided I didn't want to wait until the 24's came out. I committed to putting winter tires on for my home's winter conditions and have been very impressed at the way it handles in all kinds of weather. In normal mode it is a very compliant economy car, and when it is in N mode, it spits nails. I love the car, I think it is the best bang for the buck you can buy, it's part economy car, part race car, it's my economy race car!
