2026 Hyundai IONIQ 9 SEL

Overall, I really like the IONIQ 9, but there are two major disappointments for a vehicle costing around $70,000. First, there is no memory-seat function. I share the car with my wife, and changing the seat and mirror positions every time we switch drivers is very inconvenient. Second, the 360° surround-view camera is disappointing at night. The sides of the vehicle are too dark, and there are no LED lights under the side mirrors to illuminate the ground. The camera guidelines also do not always accurately match the vehicle’s position, making parking more difficult and increasing the risk of scratching or damaging the car. These features should be improved.

Good car, mediocre software

The car is great. I find the software to be mediocre and limited (why only 2 profiles & guest?). I would have liked to have adjustable suspension (or just a bit lower ride height)

Great van, ok EV

Maybe Tesla spoiled me but this van doesn't have the ev technology. Range is wildly inaccurate and under what they advertised. Charging at home takes days! Whereas the Tesla is done in hours. If you need a ev van it's pretty good. I leased for a reason.

A lot of things to improve… like INSTALL TIRES THAT IS CAPABLE OF CARRYING THE BODY LOAD, Only 13th month of ownership the TIRES ARE WORN OUT NOW!!

Lots of room…..and fun!

Fun and frustrating! Love all the space and how versatile it is. The startup screen is slow and non responsive when trying to select a driver. I don’t have patience to sit and wait when I have somewhere to go. The biggest frustration is the poor sensors that cause constant erroneous braking creating very dangerous situations.

Great range and size but lacks some basic features

I love the size and range. Unfortunately the car doesn’t have auto locking or a decent stereo. The stereo on a car in this price point should be good.

Brand new failed ICCU

My car has 14K miles on it and the ICCU failed rendering it useless. This should not be happening. Even beyond the ICCU I’ve had numerous issues with failing driver side power seat motor, failing door handle, mechanisms, and assorted poor workmanship on interior assembly (e.g. bad install on plastic trims)

Hyundai Ioniq 9 3 months Review

Ioniq 9 stands out on interior space, comfort, Build quality, EV battery range in summers (Have not drive in winters yet). I loved this vehicle so far and it can provide an EV range of more than 350 miles in summers in PA. Only thing I dont like about this vehicle is its exterior design from the back and Panoramic roof is not available as standard.

Great in almost every way!

This vehicle is smooth, quiet, and comfortable except for the driver's seat. It feels like there is a lump under my behind. It is probably the inflatable "massage" feature. The passenger seat is much better. I am not sure if I will keep this otherwise excellent vehicle.

Pleasantly surprised! Extremely happy!

We've had a few Hyundai vehicles in the past. This is our first Hyundai EV and coming from 3 Teslas and a Lucid we were pleasantly surprised by the smooth ride, ultra comfort, and amazing efficiency of the Hyundai Ioniq 9 performance limited. It's incredibly roomy for all of our passengers and the extra features like full sunroof, ventilated Reclining seats with leg rests, and Bose sound system are a huge plus that make long road trips more comfortable.
