I love my Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy
Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy Review
I absolutely love my Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy. The Emerald Green exterior with the caramel-brown interior is an incredible combination—I constantly get compliments from passengers, friends, neighbors, and family. I also had the exterior chrome deleted with vinyl wrap, which really cleaned up the look and gave it a much sleeker, more upscale appearance.
The interior is probably my favorite part. The quality of the leather is outstanding, and the rich caramel-brown color looks and feels genuinely luxurious. Hyundai did a fantastic job with the overall aesthetics, materials, technology, and attention to detail. I also appreciate that Hyundai kept plenty of physical buttons and dials rather than putting every function behind a touchscreen. It makes the vehicle much easier and more intuitive to use.
So far, the Palisade Hybrid has also been fairly reliable, and overall I’ve been extremely happy with it.
There are a few functional improvements I’d love to see. The second-row seats should have a true one-touch lowering feature. I’ve also noticed that the door locking/unlocking system can occasionally be inconsistent and sometimes takes a few attempts to respond.
My biggest suggestion would be a dedicated “Car Wash Mode.” One button should automatically disable Auto Hold and the automatic wipers, fold in the side mirrors, and temporarily turn off the driver-assistance features that aren’t needed in a car wash. Currently, some of those systems can trigger unnecessary warnings or require several individual settings to be changed before going through.
These are relatively minor complaints and certainly don’t outweigh everything Hyundai got right. If some of them could even be addressed through a future software update, that would make an already excellent vehicle even better.
Overall, the Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy has exceeded my expectations. It looks fantastic, feels genuinely luxurious, is comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and still turns heads. I’d absolutely recommend it.
