Favorite Car I've owned.

I was reluctant to swap to Hyundai as we are typically a Toyota family. However, my Santa Fe quickly became my favorite car I've owned. Most cars and SUVs look the same these days and the Santa Fe is distinct. The ride is smooth, the UI is great, and overall a great vehicle.

Bad dash

The dash panel is horrid. You can only see the temp controls under very limited light conditions. No possible way to take a quick look when driving. The choices of items you see displayed are a poor choice. I don’t need to see an icon that tells me it’s a school zone etc. I don’t look there. Taking a way the direction display was a poor choice. That is something I use all the time. I hate it so much I will be trading the car in soon

Love this vehicle! No issue. First Hyundai owned. Will buy another. Milage is great but could be better. Abut 35 to 36 mph.

Enjoying my Santa FE!

Probably the most comfortable and easy to drive vehicle that I have ever owned! I love the many safety features. Additionally, since it is a hybrid, I get great gas mileage!

stay alert warning sucks

I have no issue with this vehicle, OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT I CAN'T DRIVE IT! The stay alert warning interrupts my driving and audio every five minutes. The dealership told me Hyundai is aware of this issue, but can't fix it ?!?! Why does it do this? Well, the forums say I am either too tall, or wear glasses, or both. My wife has no issues. Please get this addressed!

Style and Amenities

The Calligraphy edition is impressive. This vehicle is full of options that make it a real value. I loved the media platform with mood stations. The speaker talk feature and reclining back seats make the riding experience pleasurable for all. Ample plugs keep everyone charged up.

Disappointing vehicle performance/design, not worth expense.

Transmission often shifts awkwardly (maybe OTA updates have somewhat improved over past 1 year finally...am tracking) Display icons tiny Can't lock vehicle w/out key present Alarms not able to fine tune loudness

It's just ok. Nothing more

The car is ok. There are a lot of things that look good initially that are poor quality, a lot of small annoyances and overall just disappointing.

Good value

Very well priced. Good seating and cargo. Good power on highway. Happy customer. Three areas for improvement: Electronics are a bit too dazzling to be useful. Hard to find the radio station I’m looking for. Both AC and heat are undersized for Michigan. More road noise than my previous vehicle.

Lots of little issues

Why can't I jump start my car with my internal battery? My car battery keeps dying and I have to get a jump from a neighbor.
