Good suv

It is a good suv but it has definitely room for improvement, I believe transmission needs a bit of reimbursement, as when going uphill sometimes it struggles with changing gears or there is a too large delay in the gear selection.

Hybrid Limp Mode

I was very impressed with the Santa Fe Sel Hybrid upon delivery on April 18th 2026. On May 26th 2026 while leaving work to drive home, the car went into Hybrid Limp mode while driving and I was stuck. At this point the car had 883 miles and I had only had it for 37 days. This was a big safety issue and I was very lucky no cars or trucks were right behind me as They would not have been able to avoid hitting my car.

Like the SUV very much.

The Santa Fe is a pleasure to drive, I still have much to learn to understand all of its systems. One problem the check engine light went on for a week then went off. The next week it went on for half a day and then went off. Has not happened this week.
