Why I like my 2012 Sonata Hydrid.

From the time when I got the car I have enjoyed driving the many miles I have put on it. It has a very nice look and has performed very well in all kinds of weather, terrain and road conditions. Outside of a few recalls and warranty actions I have not had to do any major repairs. Handling is great.

Bad bad bad

Had nothing but problems fro day one...check engine light constantly came on. Hybrid system was defective and in the shop several times. I also had 4 recalls the Hyundai took care of. Service people were very friendly and helpful but the quality of the car was subpar. I would not buy another one in the future.

A Gas Pass

My Sonata Hybrid gets about 38 miles per gallon. It's a gas pas. It flies down the road like a spaceship, passing slow mobiles with the greatest of ease. The Sirius XM makes it a concert on wheels.

Hyundai Sonata Hybrid great car, great gas savings

Bought my Sonata in 2013 and it only requires routine oil changes. Has many upgraded features like hands free phone sync, heated seats, computer monitored warning lights like low tire air pressure alert (awesome). Best warranty around also. We also have a Hyundai Santa Fe and love it as well. Highly recommend Hyundai automobiles.

Good gas mileage for a big car

Car fits myself who is 5'3" and my husband who is 6'3" comfortably. The gas mileage is about 40 mpg which isn't bad for a large car.

2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

Very excellent car. I've had it for over three years, and have just hit the 20,000 mile mark. It is a comfortable ride, with many luxury features. The mileage in town is a little disappointing, (about 28 mpg) but very good in highway driving, (mid 40's) Since this is likely the last car I will ever buy, I feel I have made a good choice by getting a 'top of the line' mode.

Very good vehicle and has been reliable from consistent service form Billion.

Very consistent gas mileage, 37, in town and Highway. Stable in windy environment. With over 100,000 in about 3 years the vehicle has been reliable. The electronic package in mediocre, the navigation system is fair. It does not show streets well and is expensive to update compared to Garmin for example. I would like more flexibility to select radio stations from the steering wheel. Recognizing devices such as tablets is fair. The center console display in front of the driver is very nearly worthless. Many energy displays are redundant. It would be nice to have a MPH display. It would be very nice to be able to update the vehicle electronics. Driver and Passenger side have a large blind spot making changing lanes very cautious. The interior room is very good. It would be nice to be able to adjust the passenger seat up and down.The car has Michelin tires and experiences a noisy interior ride. This car was bought two years too early as 2015 features seems to be better.

I purchased my Hyundai hybrid as a commuter car. It has become my primary vehicle of choice. I was completely pleased with comfort on long trips and weekend getaways.After some time of primarily using this car work commuting and getting around town...my wife prefers to dive the hybrid over the SUV because it a fun car to drive. And we love the gas mileage.

It doesn't have the weight and feels tinny. I usually drive it around town and on the freeway to close appointments.

Since the trouble with the batteries, I do not feel safe. I worry I will get stuck somewhere and have to call towing or service to come and get the car.
