Love our Sonata Hybrid

We bought this car to do some traveling in as it is a bit bigger than our other Hybrid. It has heated and cooled seats which are very comfortable. We like the driver seat position buttons. Our gas mileage is good, averaging 40 - 45 miles per gallon. The ride is very comfortable and it is reasonably quiet. It handles well and has excellent pick-up if needed. Navigation system works well. I found the programming for the radio a bit complicated but there is always a learning curve when you buy a car of different make form those previously owned. Trunk is spacious.

Only Hybrid Worth Driving

First of all, I have several friends who have hybrid vehicles and I was never interested because of their horrible 0 to 60 speed, sluggish acceleration and with some just an odd looking vehicle. Hyundai changed my mind with the Sonata Hybrid. I compare all vehicle performance to the Hyundai Genesis Coupe (for great performance) and on the bad side with two Mercedes vehicles I previously owned. I'm a driver who loves to be on the freeway heading to Atlanta, New York or Chicago in my car so 0 to 60 is important to me. Additionally gas mileage is important as well. The best mileage I have gotten on the freeway going 75 mph is 52 and traveling Route 1 I have managed to reach 55 mpg (that translates to between 638 and 655 miles to a single tank of gas). Another feature that I love is the silent, completely unnoticeable transition from gasoline to electric. No bumps or jumps just your driving downhill or you've reached your traveling speed on the freeway and I let the car take over. The rear back-up camera has become a feature that I can't live without though 99.9% of my driving is going forward. If a $10 tip won't work to get a parking attendant to back the car into a parking space, I am willing to do that now thanks to the rear camera.

my sonata

I am in love with my Sonata Hybrid, it looks sleek, runs smooth, you can't even telk its on. I put gas in it every three weeks and could go a month if I wanted I just don't ever let it get empty. Best decision ever! Love it!

Hyundai hybrid blue

Great on gas. I drive 100 RT M-F in heavy traffic. I used to gas up every 3 days. With the hybrid I has up once a week, saving $35-40 a week (about $148,00 a month). Blue tooth technology, awesome, clear and easy!

I purchased the vehicle approximately 21 months ago and it has provided flawless performance. I have not encountered any problems and all features of the car have operated without problems. It is well engineered car with thoughtful features and look forward to continued long term trouble free performance. The vehicle is a solid car and has very good mileage.

This hybrid is unbeleiveable.

I now have over 17,000 miles on this car. I have had no problems and it consistently gives me over 40 mpg. Not bad mileage for a car this size with the comfort it gives. I just returned from a 3,000 mile trip in which I averaged over 43 mpg overall, with three fuel-ups in the north in cooler weather where the AC was not needed as much, I got over 46 mpg.

Love my car!

I was sold on a Hyundai having driven on for almost 200,000 miles. I had driven a hybrid once and was sold on the gas mileage. So when I was ready to trade my car, my first choice was to go to Hyundai to see what was available. I wanted a few creature features, leather seats, a moon roof. I got all I was looking for; my leather seats, heated and cooled, my moon roof, great view even in the back seat, and all wrapped up in a hybrid which gives me more than 600 miles to a tank of gas! What's not to like about more than 600 miles to a tank of gas!? I drove from coastal Virginia to Pittsburgh, PA, and still had more than 200 miles left in the tank when I filled up! I love my car

I love this car! We get 40 miles per gallon, even going 70 on the interstate. We always use Eco mode. People come up to me asking questions about the car. Some have even asked if they could look inside! This is my second Sonata. My first one was not a hybrid. My husband and I kept saying we should have gotten the hybrid. Then, the car got totaled in a freak hailstorm in ND. IT WAS NOT EVEN A YEAR OLD! And that's how we got our hybrid! Be careful for what you wish for! LOL!

great vehicle

All systems work great. If I engineered this vehicle I would have incorporated a modular system that anticipated future upgrades. My vehicle would have to have the infotainment system replaced to get on board wifi, nav, etc. The noise when changing from battery to gas engine is very noticeable. Other than those two engineered items the vehicle. The exterior SeaMist clor garners complements everytime I step out of the vehicle. One day while sitting in a local grocery store a policeman pulled up behind me and walked up to the drivers side and commented "I really like the color of your vehicle. May I ask the color?"

Love the car

This is our first Hyundai and we love the Sonata Hybrid. It handles very well and the fuel economy is outstanding. It is so quiet, we are thinking about getting a deer whistle if they still make them so the animals can hear us coming. It has the ride and the feel of a much more expensive car. We have taken three trips of quite some distance and arrived refreshed instead of beat up and tired. The controls are well placed and the warranty gives you peace of mind. We love our car and would definitely buy another Hyundai Sonata Hybrid.

Love my Sonata Hybrid

love everything about this vehicle especially the mpg. I can drive from MD to NY on less than half a tank and from NC to MD on 3/4 of a tank. Amazing.
