2017 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

Traded in our 2012 Sonata Hybrid for this car. We went up a notch and purchased the "Limited" this time, really for the dual electric seats in the front. Trunk seems deeper than our old 2012. The fuel-management system seems to be different than our old one as well, and are getting significantly better gasoline mileage both in city and on highway. Downside is too many functions done with on-screen displays...seems like a nice feature until you have to use it for mundane things every day.

500 miles to the tank-fill

I pull to the gas station every other week to fuel up for the first time in my driving career of some 55 years . i am a happy camper!!! The ride, the amenities, the CD PLAYER which is no longer available after the 2017 models, the seating, the dash---the everything about this model has made me a hybrid believer. Try one yourself!!!

Very Happy with our new Sonota Hybrid!

We got 50 mph on our Rocky Mountain trip. With plenty of power and maneuverability, we were very happy! I guess I should add more but since I just bought this car a few months ago there is nothing more to say!

Sonata Hybrid

I am very satisfied with theSonata Hybrid. I tested the Prius,Malbu, and Fusion.I preferred the Sonata Hybrid in every comparison test I had. I wish however that there was a model inbetween the base and the premium.

warranty is no good

I like my Sonta very much,the reason for buying was the good warranty,but now I have out the warranty is no good. The first time you take it in for work the warranty is no good. I think there must be a design flaw after this happened I checked and it has happened several times before.

This is my first hybrid. Fun to drive in all traffic conditions. Took a little while to get used to how quiet it is. Especially parking lots, people can not hear you. Great handling and acceleration. I call it; sneaky, smooth and quick. Average 42 mpg in the city and 47 mpg highway.

Sonata Hybrid

The Sonata Hybrid is a pleasant car to drive and comes with a great warranty.However I wish it had heated mirrors and electrically adjustable seat which is standard on the regular Sonata. We have driven it on some long road trips and they were comfortable trips.

2017 sonata lug in hybrid

This car isn't sold in Ohio, so we travelled to Maryland to buy it. I was very glad that we did. the only other car that was a significant possibility for plug-in hybrid was the Ford Fusion Energi. that car is rated at 21 Miles Electric. I test drove that car five separate times and was able to get between 19.5 and 20.8 miles on electric only. the Sonata plug-in hybrid is rated at 27 miles electric, however, to my pleasant surprise, this under States the abilities of the car. although it depends on terrain and driving conditions, I generally get between 30 and 35 miles on electric alone. the car is very pleasant to drive and feels quite luxurious, and this comes from an owner in a family where we own a Tesla Model S.

Car of today and tomorrow

40 + MPG on reg. 44-45 on mid grade 50 on high grade Only had a little over year, but have no complaints! On a trip you just pass up the gas pumps and keep on going. It did a lot better in snow than I had expected.

Love this car.

This was the second Hyundai Sonata Hybrid I've leased and it's been improved in almost all areas from our first one. (Outstanding mph (42-34 mpg), comfort, and driveability.) I will either purchase this car at the end of the lease or replace it with a newer model depending on cost and technical improvements.

Great Vehicle

We are enjoying this vehicle very much, it is the third hybrid vehicle we have had the other two were Ford Fusion which we enjoyed the main reason we traded for the Hyundai Sonata was the warranty, but we have really enjoyed it. It has a very comfortable ride and has good gas mileage.

2018 Sonata Hybrid

We purchased our vehicle in March of 2017 and have enjoyed the gas mileage,roomy interior and reliable usage. The areas of improvement would be improvement of the appearance and texture of most of the plastics inside and add padding to center console lid and door areas where your arm rests. We have over 17,000 miles and not a squeak or loose panel as of yet.

So fuel efficient car.

I am running this car for 8 months. I am enjoying this car so much. So fuel efficient and trunk has enough space. I can use this car for few days camping with my husband and fishing, even for ski trips for myself. Enough for back space too. And so quiet and comfort to run.

My Hyundai Hybrid

I love the gas mileage that I get from my car. I am averaging over 40 miles to the gallon, or to put it more succinctly, I get about 600 miles before I need to visit the gas station! The car has "pick up" speed on mountain roads, handles easily, and is very quiet! I forget how quiet it is until I have a passenger in the car who has never experienced the hybrid before! This is my second Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, as I like to lease, and I am sure that I will get a third one when the time comes to trade this one in!

Best car on the road

This is our 6th or 7th Hyundai. We don't even look at other models. We love the service from the salesperson (Heather Cusick) to the staff that we interact with when we pay for our service appointments, Mr. Bull who takes the time to explain every paper when we draw up a contract, to the service people that greet us and take excellent care of us in the service bays. We are treated with respect and they take time to fully explain what they are doing to our vehicle. They treat us like family. In the past we have had contact with the body shop and they are just as friendly and helpful as the people in the main building. I was involved in an accident with one of our Hyundai's and walked away with a few sore muscles and maybe a bruise or two. The car did what it was supposed to to protect me and I was very impressed. We will continue to purchase Hyundai's in the future at our favorite dealer, Hatchet Hyundai West.

My Hyundai Sonata Limited Hybrid

What can I say about my car? Wow! 10 mile trip in town - 72.6 MPG. 12 mile trip in town - 65.8 MPG. Average MPG in town - 35 - 39 MPG. Highway - 40 -45 MPG. Today, highway and street driving - 85 miles - 42.3 MPG. Great handling, short turning radius, everything is at your fingertips. Service and service staff is superb.

Great When it Runs

I have had more problems with this vehicle then I care to recall. When it runs, it is an amazing vehicle. However, 10 months since I have purchased it and I am constantly having issues. For that reason, it is very disappointing.
