Impressions after 12,000 miles

Conservative driver, me. Coast to traffic lights or slowing vehicles rather than apply hard braking. Usually drive under 70. Gas milage loaded is 42-44 mpg. This is a comfortable car with many conveniences, roomy for passengers and luggage. Not a performance car, but has power for passing and getting up to speed for the turnpike. Quick turning radius. Holds a straight line on the road. Quick steering makes using the touch screen electronics a safety hazard. You can drive off the road trying to select ESPN.

Great Car! Very happy with it.

We purchased our Sonata Hybrid this year after our Prius battery died. I like it even better than the Prius. It is very roomy, comfortable and has much more power. And we are still getting about 42 mpg, which is great since we drive a lot. Plus their warranties are the best out there. We get so many compliments on how great it looks too. We are very satisfied!

2nd Sonata Hybrid in 4 years

Our Sonata has been running fine after 1year. No major issues so far. In town up and down our hills 30mph. on the flat, hiway 40mph. smooth ridding and quiet engine. One thing that could help is a sensor that tells us the curb is too high to pull up to. we have dragged the bottom of the front cowling several times, chews up the plastic front end under side. This was true with our 2015 as it with this 2017 Sonata. The side exterior on the 2015 was nicer sportier than the 2017 is, but the interior options are much better. both front seats electrical adjust, cool and heated seats.
