Older tucson models look better material wise

Seems like cheap cheap cheap materials were used to build this. Windshield replaced after only 12 months of owning. My car looks like cheap plastic was used to build it. Older models of tucsons look so much nicer in regards to quality of materials.

Tucson Review

I am very happy with the car and enjoy driving it. It’s comfortable and I appreciate the very nice camera system. I had gotten used to folding mirrors from my other vehicles and I wish my Tucson had them also. I find the rear cargo space a bit cramped but then perhaps I try to carry too much stuff. In my opinion it would be better to have more dials and buttons as touching the screen to change something requires one to take the eyes off the road. I frequently tell people that I like my little car as I was driving a large pickup truck before

Battery unable to hold a charge if not used for 6-7 days.

Needed to call. AAA 3x in last 3 months. Dealer never provided information on how to use key if locked out or any potential battery issues.

Affordable Excellence

My wife and I purchase the Hyundai Tucson in February 2024. One of the deciding factors was our ownership of a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe for 20 years with minimal maintenance. We like the power options on the Tucson so we selected the hybrid model. This auto handles very well. The Tucson presents a comfortable ride and very good gas mileage. We were amazed at all of the features of the Tucson such as turn signal display and warning.

Ok not great

There are things that would be so easy to change from a usability perspective. For example, cup holder size, space in the doors for storage, the ability to lock the car hitting the door lock on the inside of the car door.....

Overall excellent vehicle with a few flaws. Need to have a fix for the annoying back up alarm and for the reverse camera that does is affected in rain and snow more than other vehicles I have owned.
