Tucson review

Overall, the 2024 Tucson hybrid is above average. The only two drawbacks are the fuel economy which could be better compared to a Rav4 and the backup warning horn which is much too loud.

Almost Perfect but not Quite

I love my Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. I have thoroughly enjoyed it . I like the styling, the interior design, the spaciousness inside, and the great fuel mileage with the hybrid two engines. The only issue I have had is that the transmission needs an upgrade as it often shifts from gear to gear clunkily. If I need to initially accelerate quickly it often bogs down before it shifts into the next gear. It is my understanding that Hyundai is going to replace the transmission setup in its vehicles for 2026.

Great gas mileage, safety features, horsepower better than non hybrid. The Bluetooth needs improvement and you should have wireless CarPlay in the top of the line models.

Almost perfect

I've had this car for just over a year now. I love almost everything about it. It's very comfortable. It has great convenience features. The ride is great and it gets great gas mileage for an SUV. There are a couple of annoying features though. 1. The backup warning sound should have a way to either turn off or turn down. Living in a shared driveway with 3 other homes near me, is very annoying to my neighbors when I'm leaving early in the morning or at night. 2. The auto braking can sometimes be a bit too sensitive. Sometimes, it will automatically break if the sensor catches a sign or light going around a bend. It can be quite startling when this happens. If it weren't for those two things, I'd give this car a 5 star review.

I Love My 2024 Hyundai Tucson Limited Hybrid

I love my 2024 Hyundai Tucson Limited Hybrid. There is not much I would change if I could. I especially like having the gear shift in the center console and this is the main reason I bought the 2024 model. I knew the change that was coming with the 2025 model. There are other bonus improvements made since I owned the 2022 non-hybrid model. I like the backup exterior warning beeps, among other items. The car has improved pickup performance over the non-hybrid model.
