Tucson Hybrid 2026

I appreciate the efficient fuel economy while also having an engine capable of keeping up in thin traffic. The interior design is ok but the buttons and switches can be overwhelming and almost too easily accessible since I don't use all of them all of the time. The exterior design looks nice, and my headlights aren't tilted high enough to blind poor sedans in front of me, always a plus. Only downside so far has been my unfortunate experience of getting a nail in my sidewall, which having a spare would've been great for an emergency like that.

My Black Knight

My wife and I absolutely love all of the safety features. That was the main reason for buying. The comfort and the heated seats was a great bonus. It took some getting use to, but the gear shift has become easy to use.

Five months in, one issue but otherwise a great vehicle

After almost five months, still loving my Tucson. I have one issue where the cameras sometimes don't work when I'm parking or backing up (I get a green screen instead, that says "No Camera Signal Received"). Took it into the dealer and the service technician was able to narrow it down to a loose connection in the dashboard harness. The replacement part has been ordered and the service tech gave me a workaround to get the cameras to come back on when that green screen comes up. I really appreciate that.

Solid choice for all the options you need

I’m still trying to get use to all the features and upgrades in this car, that I’ve had for four months. This is my first hybrid, and the transition from gas to electric is always very smooth. The ride is comfortable, and I agree with consumer reports that the only real negative was the gear shifter being different than what most people are used to… But I got used to it in a day or two I’m very happy with this purchase, and I would buy it again!

Fun to Drive

We have only driven the hybrid Tucson locally so far. We chose the non-plugin model for its economy and dependability. We have heard too many bad reviews on plugins trying to find compatible charging stations. We are happy with our choice.

I love my Tuscon hybrid. It is comfortable, easy to drive and gets great mileage for an AWD. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a garage door opener.

Almost perfect

Easy to drive with good features. Adaptive cruise and lane assist are excellent, as is the backup camera. Head up display is great! Driver comfort very good for a small-ish vehicle. Some annoying issues: Driver attention alerts occur frequently and randomly without cause. iPhone CarPlay and Bluetooth disconnect spontaneously. Transmission allows car to roll forward or backward about 6-10 inches when parked. Hybrid fuel efficiency unimpressive.
