Very satisfied with a few irks
Overall, I love the vehicle. It’s roomy, has lots of technology features, and looks nice. A few things that bother me which could be considered minor to others…
1. The outer trim along the front passenger side window was scratched upon purchase and had to be replaced. Four attempts to replace. Each attempt resulted in the new trim piece having a small dent in the same exact spot on each one and the service area reordering the part. After 5 months this is still unresolved. Obviously a bad batch in manufacturing or just overall poor quality control.
2. The leather on the drivers side seat has a tiny tear already that I noticed about 3 months in. Not sure what caused it, but nothing obvious and speaks to the quality of the material used.
3. Despite the high technology, there is not an automatic door lock feature when walking away from the car. You have to touch the sensor on the door handle or use the key or app to lock.
4. The app has glitches. Setting up a second digital key took weeks of attempts. Valet alerts continued to be generated for weeks after deactivating valet mode.
5. The dashboard and app are not in agreement for maintenance due. Dashboard says service due in 900 miles, but app says all is good and no maintenance due for a few thousand miles.
