Great Combo of Economical and Super Cool

When I started seeing Velosters on the road, I couldn't tell if they were some exotic sport vehicle or what. It turns out that it's a rather moderately priced fuel efficient car that looks awesome and has great features. I'm a huge fan of this car.

Head unit and the GDI engine are the short commings

The his vehicle has served me well in my commute and spirited-ish driving. Hyundai corporate has admitted to a design flaw in the GDI engines, cause of what can become serious carbon build up and guncked up lifters. This issue doesn't hurt performance, but adds some added noise to the engine bay. The head unit is pretty poor in user friendliness.

I am a middle aged free-spirited woman, and my beloved 2013 Hyundai Veloster is unique and sporty and fits my personality well. I have already put almost 95,000 miles on it in 3.5 years and know that it will last me for many years to come. Very reliable car, excellent gas mileage. Love it when the men whistle at it and admire it! It's my 'baby'!

Sporty with the heart of a Mid Size Car

When I was searching for a SUV I spied this little white car. It was love at first sight and I knew I just had to sit in her for a moment. After sitting in her all thoughts of a SUV were gone out of my mind. She has all the features of being Sporty, and all the heart of a mid sized car we have no problems hauling things home with her roomy back and she fits nicely in a parking spot. I enjoy driving her and always look forward to my drive.

2013 Veloster

I love this car, it's so sporty looking, even though it doesn't have a lot of horsepower, that doesn't matter to me. It has a lot of really good pick up in first and second gear and I love the way it takes turns. It's a lot of fun to drive. It does drive a little bumpy though, most days it doesn't bother me, but some days it does, I wish it were a little smoother.

Love my Veloster

I love my Veloster, I have only taken it in a few times for any type of service. It is great on gas and it is a very small car that fits anywhere. This will be the only car I buy going forward.

Best ride in a long time

Despite some recent difficulties with the center console (function buttons and CD player requiring repeated resets,) the Veloster is pleasant to drive, and a comfortable ride. The contoured shape is deceiving, hiding a substantial rear hatch for storage (which can be expanded by folding down the rear seat backs,) and seating that my passengers tell me is roomy and comfortable. MPG is very good, whether in ECO mode or not.

A lot for a 4 cylinder

a lot more than you'd expect in a 4 cylinder, a bit sporty also the body type 3 door is amusing, about 400 miles to the gallon I have gotten a lot of complements

I love my Veloster!

It is such a good looking car and you can't beat the gas mileage! I've had mine for 3 1/2 years now and I've only had to replace one tire, wipers, headlights and get a new blower motor (under warranty).

Sporty Veloster

Great car! Sporty, fun, and practical in one package. Only drawback is that the tires are designed poorly, resulting in a flat tire every time I hit a pothole. Otherwise, everything has been great!

Great small car with great gas mileage.

I have the 2013 model year with dual transmission. Every other driver in my family uses automatic, but I ALWAYS drive it in the clutch-less manual mode as I find it much more responsive that way. I've had the car for 4 years now. No major trouble at all and I plan to keep it. The back seat is a little cramped and access tough with that little 3rd door, but this is not meant to be a "family car." I bought it for economy. It was pricey, but to me worth the money. The rear view camera is NOT optional....rear visibility is horrible and without the camera, you would endanger yourself or others while backing up. One last thing - if you are overweight, you may find the seats too narrow for comfort. For me they are okay, but I have had larger passengers complain about the narrow seat.

I LOVE MY Veloster!

After years of driving Jeep Grand Cherokees, I was injured in an auto accident & my last Jeep was totaled. I made the decision to purchase a smaller "sporty" vehicle, knowing that I could no longer transport & deliver large & heavy items to my design clients. I love that the back seats fold down even w/the back trunk area, giving me lots of space for items that I need to transport. It's such a fun & sporty car to drive...it's cheap to fill w/gas & drives forever on a tank! It's become my "Freedom Mobile"!
