Veloster is fun to drive.

I love my Veloster. It is a 6 speed and I enjoy how it handles. Gas mileage is amazing too. There is more room in the interior than it looks. I haul lots of stuff in my Veloster. Way better than the ford focus, that looks similar. I also like the attention it gets. People think it's a sports car...but, it's an economy car with a cute style.

Dependable and enjoyable!

I have enjoyed my 2013 Hyundai Veloster since I purchased it in January 2013 . I have been on several long distant trips and found it to be just as comfortable and dependable on those long trips as in my everyday driving and still enjoy the look and color of it also . I have room for friends and family to go with me and it actually has a surprising amount of room when you want to pick up a bigger purchase or move a good sized item by way of the hatchback and back seats that lie down . Fuel efficiency is a plus and it's fun too!

Very Underrated Little Muscle With an MPG impact!

I believe the Veloster Turbo is so underrated in today's market segment! this is my very first Hyundai and I mylust say ... I'm very impressed with this guys handling, stamina and a feisty little punch on the open road. The amount of leg and head room on the inside is very deceiving from the outside looking in. A fun car to drive for certain and in fact when I reach my destination I don't want to get out of my Veloster Turbo. I want to keep on driving!

The turbo model is the way to go. Just don't expect much power or MPG

I purchased my Veloster turbo knowing quite well its not a race car. That being said i also feel the car lacks quite a bit of power for a car that is turbocharged and is not getting better than 24 MPG average city. This car seems to fall between an economy car and a hot hatch which while its awesome to fill a gap it leaves much to be desired.

Great Vehicle.

Since I took ownership of my Veloster in 2010 I have been amazed by all of the positive comments that I receive for this vehicle. When I tell people that it is a Hyundai they are left speechless. Mine is red and not many people think that a Hyundai would look this sporty. It is a joy to drive and service and maintenance are totally reasonable.

nice little car

My Veloster has worked well for me. I would not recommend the dealership in which I purchased the car from though, as they are crooks. However, their service department is outstanding. I was a little disappointed when the transmission failed after four years. However, it was covered under warranty. *I would never recommend purchasing an extended warranty on a car from this dealership, as they do NOT honor anything the snake salesman tells you it covers. After owning the car for just over a month, I noticed a large golf ball sized bubble on the side of one of my tires, so I carefully took the car in to get it fixed/exchanged. They told me "they didn't make the tires, so it wasn't covered under any warranty whatsoever. ***Hey, Hyundai doesn't make the vast majority of the parts that go into their automobiles, so I would guess the vast majority of their parts aren't covered either. Be careful when dealing with salesmen when they're trying to push an extended warranty down your throat...

Veloster Turbo 2013

This is my 2nd Veloster. I picked up a 2012 first that was a 6 spd, non-turbo car. Nice handling but woefully underpowered for the chassis. Love the difference the extra 60 hp from the turbo motor. Only drawbacks on the car are the tires, and the audio system. The stock OEM Kuhmo Solus are JUNK!!! Put some better rubber on this car. And the Dimension audio system is worth the price, but the speakers break down when driven above 25 on the volume scale. Get some high power speakers that don't crack and fail. I blew both fronts, and one of the rear sidewalls.

Responsive, fast, good stopping power

We always get compliments on the car, and people don't even know it's a turbo. The only thing I would change is the metal-looking door grips, which began to show wear immediately. Nav system hard to use except when calling BLUELINK. For us, Sirius is not worth the price.

A Keeper

I wanted a car that was economical and sporty. I haven't been disappointed. I get very good mileage plus it is small enough to fit into smaller parking spots but heavy enough for us to feel safe. I used to have a Honda CRX, which I loved, and then a Del Sol. Neither of those cars had a back seat, which was problematic. My Veloster allows me to have a sporty ride with enough flexibility to accommodate any passengers, if need be.
