2015 Veloster Turbo

I love this car! I was looking for something sporty and small when I bought it. The 6 speed manual is very smooth and I get compliments on this car all the time! The ride is very good for something in this category and its small size makes it extremely easy to maneuver in traffic and other tight areas! The backseat is big enough to fit 2 average-size adults but if you're 6'3" or taller, you might hit your head on the roof (just get shorter friends). Overall, my favorite car I've owned!

Turbo Veloster with a stick

Fun little car. I would recommend a turbo Veloster with manual transmission. The car is used as a commuter in the cities, excilerates quickly on ramps, smooth to shift (be careful, have to push stick slightly towards passenger seat 5 to 6 or it will move to 4th gear), and even with turbo we get 38 mpg combined. It performed well this past winter in snow and on slick roadways.

AWESOME MACHINE,... MORE LIKE A MOTOT DRIVE COMPUTER ON WHEELS...!!!

I cannot be more Pleased with a vehicle than I am with my Very-Veloster, which is Very-Fun !!! My 2015 Veloster Twin Turbo is my second Veloster. Previously, I owned a 2014 as well. My college son drives a 2014 Veloster as well. I have had no troubles worth mentioning. The only thing that I have noted is that the car and its Twin Turbos seem to bog down when the gas tank level drops below a 1/3 full. It seems to lose power. I noticed the same with my prior 2014 and my son's 2014 Veloster, albeit this bogging has decreased with the newer model. I do not regret buying my Velosters and would love to trade-up to a 2016 Veloster.

Fun, sporty and good gas economy

I purchased the re:flex variant (the special version during 2015 with a special interior and a couple of upgrades unavailable to the base veloster) and have loved driving it. I am 6'5" and don't have to put the seat back all the way, it's 3-door design leaves plenty of interior room for the driver and front passenger. That said, I have filled it with coworkers on lunch runs and other than jokes about how it must look like a clown car when we all get out, no one has really complained about not having enough space. It is a narrow car as well, gives plenty of room to maneuver in one's own lane. My version doesn't have a turbo, though I personally don't find myself really needing it. The turbo version I test drove was a ton of fun though, plenty of power if that is what you are looking for and honestly a bit more than I needed. It also comes at a great price. I'd recommend giving it a go, I got in it as a joke since I didn't fit in the Elantra and ended up buying it over the Sonata that I had originally been planning to get.

BANG for the buck

The Veloster r spec is an amazing car , for the price point it dilivers on expectations and surpasses some as well . The handling is great and exactly what I would expect out of a sport hatch at this price point . The 1.6 twin scroll turbo charged engine delivers smooth effienct power that is more than enough to make the 2799 pound r spec feel quick and fun to drive . The clutch is on par with what I would expect from the price point , the B&M short through shifter how ever ; well surpasses the price point and ha more of the feel of an Audi shifter than a Hyundai . The exterior styling is what it is , personally I love it but it's a matter of preference there . Same with the interior styling yet I love that as well . The seat are very comfortable and provide outstanding support while Cornering , they also make the interior appear that your in a 30,000 dollar car as opposed to a 20,000 dollar car . The visability out of the back is a little scarce but with Hyundai throughing in review cameras standerd it's no problem at all . The Veloster is a fun practical car , and I would defiantly recommend it .

Hyundai Veloster

It handles great, has good acceleration, good gas mileage and kind of sporty. The third door is a winner winner chicken dinner. Perfect car for single guy, his lady friend and Australian Shepard. For a retail price of around 20 grand you can't beat it. It comes in turbo,leather and navigation for 5 grand more. It's a fun car to drive.

We love this car.

This car has been wonderful for us. Great mileage (33-37mpg) including up and down hills (we live at 3300 ft elev. and shop at 30 ft elev.), great amenities (guidance, sound, bluetooth, mileage computers, etc.) sun roof, solid and secure body and seating, no problems with anything so far, and much more. The styling is fun and it's fun to drive. Although it's slightly underpowered when climbing steep grades, that is something we expected after reading other reviews. We could have opted for the Turbo, but we chose mileage over horsepower in this case and haven't been sorry.

i LOVE my car...it is perfect for a person who is "short"...and it makes me feel "cool"....i love the way it handles and parks anywhere i want it to park AND.....i go to Sams for "food runs" for the community pool and we can "stuff that little car" to the hilt cause it thinks it's a truck.......I LOVE MY CAR and did i tell you it is RED....take it from there
