2016 Veloster Turbo

So far the car has given me nothing but great results. Ride is rough in the city. In shop once for rear hatch not opening. Great gas mileage, would have been nice to see the speedometer with led in the center.

Good buy for its value

I have the non-turbo model, but the look and feel of both interior and exterior are excellent and sporty looking. The car speaker is so great. The car is relatively smaller, but the rear compartment (since it’s not a real trunk) is huge. Plus you can close the back seat to extend the compartment to store more luggage! If you frequently travel with lot of luggage, like going for camping, this car is far better than full size sedan. The fact that it is 3-door makes it unique than the rest. The steering wheel is also tight unlike the other typical sedan, which is great to have a feeling of a sports car. In terms of fuel consumption, it’s very efficient. One full tank, about 13 gallons would probably take about more than 420 miles. I think the only downside which is probably normal at its value is low accelaration. It feels very hard to accelerate specially when I am entering into freeway. It may also not a good car to drive in a snowy area or mountainous area since it does not a lot of power in it. Also the car break seems squeeching during cold weather, some wet part of the break system might have produced some ice.

Great car

So far I’m very with the car and quality put into it. One thing I noticed in some you tube videos is a few problem when accelerating and the vehicle does not move. I have experienced this twice while pushing the pedal down and the gas seems to be fliped because it does not move. If problem do get worse I we’ll take this to the service team i currently have 5090 miles on my car. However if I went back and had to purchase a vehicle again I buy same car Veloster turbo .

Turbo Veloster

Nice little car it's somewhat sporty and with 201hp it has some get up and go to it. All though another 50hp would make it a lot more fun to drive. Wider tires would give it and much more aggressive look to it for a little car. The interior is fairly spacious with the third door coming in handy over and over again. I would recommend it for someone wanting good gas mileage fairly sporting look with a little pep to it to get in and out of traffic.

I like my Rally.

Got my Rally for almost 2 years now and still my boy don't give me such a major pain in the arse. but i have this minor problem with my Purge solenoid which is there is a lot of reason why it happened. well, other than that i drove my rally to NC or to DC no problem with such a small car.

If you want to drive something with unique styling and also love every minute you're in it then consider the Veloster. It's quick, fun to drive and still gets good gas mileage! I love my Veloster Turbo!

Love my car. Just wish it was more powerful.

With a 1.6 liter engine you shouldn't expect a whole lot, but with the turbo addition it's a pretty quick car. Is stylish and comfortable. The only complaint I have about mine is I wish it had more horsepower, but like I said it's good for a 1.6 liter.

2016 Hyundai Veloster

I love this car. It's quiet, comfortable, and easy to drive. It's wide so it corners really well, I love the interior lay out; very intuitive. The seats are super comfy, which is important since I drive a lot for work and to New England a few times a year from Virginia. That said, there are a few cons-- the pick up stinks, so it doesn't merge that smoothly without ample distance. It is pretty low to the ground, so getting in and out gets tough if you have to do it a lot. The 3 door thing took some getting used to... I kinda wish it had that 4th door. My biggest complaint though is that for the size of the car and the engine, gas mileage really isn't all that great- especially in the city or if you're running the heat. It consistently gets 35-40 for highway driving, but city? Maybe 25-27. The interior looks great, but the paint and materials used scratch really easily, which is a huge bummer. All in all, I really like my car angs would recommend out to someone looking for a sporty looking car without the high end price tag.

2016 veloster turbo

so far pretty good car had reoccurring Bluetooth issue but fixed it .replaced the radio and speakers no more issues. if possible get the factory navigation radio less issues with the Bluetooth . drive train pretty solid changed transmission gear oil to redline full synthetic . way smother now .17000 first year no issues only heater control replaced and 1 window switch due to non illumination. like the car its peppy and fun to drive pretty good on gas .seats are comfortable and heated and mirrors are heated on the turbo models.

Great car, except for central dash a/v display visibility. It offers good quality for a vehicle in its price range. Wonderful 'around town' vehicle. Could use more power and better braking to accompany its 'sporty appearance.'

Best Buy long time dream of owning the Veloster

I purchased this vehicle new in 2016, so far it has treated me great. One of the changes if any would be the head room in the rear for adults but overall its a great car. I have the Turbo trim without the tech package, I can say I miss the sunroof but I am a huge fan of CD's and couldn't let that feature go. It is under powered but when you need its there to tackle obstacles. This car may not be seeing as a traveling car but after taking him on a few road trips it sure makes up for the small compact size. I did not enjoy the small profile tires that made it seem like the vehicle had a lot of road noise. But I do recommend this vehicle and the new body style that Hyundai just came out with. This is a vehicle body style that will be remembered in automotive history with the dual pane glass hatch and three doors.

I love my 2016 Hyundai Veloster because it drives like a sport car. I love the way the interior design looks and how the exterior design looks too! The vehicle handles well on the road. I like the fact I can switch from automatic drive to manual drive with ease.

2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo

My 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo is a great little hatchback. The car is fairly quick and responsive and still a practical daily driver. Although the power is descent, it still needs a little bit more push to put it in real competition with the segment leaders such as the Ford Focus ST. The car looks great, but the paint quality is questionable. After only two years the paint looks aged and thin. Also, the paint has chipped very easily with minor contact that would not have chipped paint on most other cars.

2016 Veloster Turbo.

I got the car new over a year ago. I've only put 8,500 miles on it. So far, so good. No problems yet. Only things I know that I'd change would be automatic seats. It has everything else on it that someone would need, so it just seems odd that it wasn't included.

Fun and sweet

The car is the fastest thing out there with turbo. Racing car good for a woman.. it is hard to break occasionally has had difficulty with bumps and so low to ground it will scratch all curbs. Very pretty car inside and out

2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo

Overall the Veloster Turbo is a great little car. The looks are awesome both inside and out, and the interior controls are easy to use and intuitive. I am going to list some faults here, but that is because anything not cited here, means that it is great. Although the power is descent, it still needs another more powerful engine option to really be competitive with the class leaders. The stereo system is okay, but could use some refinement. The only two real negatives about the car are that the ride quality is way harsh and the paint quality is questionable. I have owned many performance cars with tighter handling that had much better / smoother ride quality. On the paint, it is hard to gauge how this is happening, but he car is only two years old and very well maintained with regular washing etc., but the paint seems thin and chips / flakes are all over the place even though I drive this car under the same conditions and on the same roads as my other much older car that still has spotless paint after 7 years. Even with its several faults I still recommend this car to others because it is fun to drive and pretty practical to own. Also Hyundai really stands behind their vehicles. I took it in for service at Great Lakes Hyundai and told them the windshield wipers needed replaced, and they replaced them at no charge.
