Great car

This car was affordable and fit the exact criteria of what we was looking for to give to our 16yr old son for a first car. It meets all safety requirements over and above which not only keeps him safe but keeps our insurance at a minimum. Safety and the slick look combine is hard to find nowadays so I am glad we was able to come across a car that carries both traits. The cost of the car was breathtaking as I never dreamed of finding a car with so many bells and whistles in this budget range. We own a Cadillac and a Denali and this little car has as many if not more options. It is very fun to drive, has great power, and has the look to boot. Very happy with everything it has to offer.

Like this car , but it really need a CD player because people my age still listen to cd's and the interior should be a better quality for the amount paid for this car , but I like the 3 doors cause it's unique

Great car!

The Hyundai Veloster is a terrific car. I love the styling and its very comfortable to drive. The gas mileage is decent. If you're looking for a fun car to drive with unique styling put this one on your list.

Great performance for the money

This is a great car, excellent performance for the money on this price range, next competitor is on a different range around $10K + above. It does have its quirks and is missing some factory equipment that is offered on other markets like heated seats, leather seats or power seats, not a bit deal but I wouldn’t mind paying extra for those features that can’t be had in the US. Only one concern over a 3 month ownership period is a weird vibration coming from the dash/ rear view mirror, again for the price range it’s not a big deal since this is not a high end luxury car but definitely annoying. Interior materials at mostly hard plastic which looks cheap but it doesn’t really look like it will fell apart which is good. Gotta love those pops and crackers coming from the exhaust.

My 2020 Veloster

I really wasn't expecting to purchase a Veloster but after test driving it before another model there was no comparison. Its a sporty and fun car to drive! It comes with all the newest technology too!

Just what we were looking a for

Vehicle is sleek, quick, comfortable and rides nice. Didn’t need much space, but surprisingly the trunk has way more room than we expected. Looking forward to teaching the kids how to drive it. I won’t have to worry about them riding with too many people, while being confident they are protected.

Good not great

The upsides are, responsive handling and braking as well as a very stylish appearance, the fuel economy is excellent!!!. The downside is not a quick on acceleration as I expected and the back seat may not even exist for it is hardly usable.

The vehicle overall is good. Priced right. The look is ok. I actually preferred the look of the previous model. However I was sold on the performance and the fact that Hyundai builds a great product.

Overall a good vehicle. Disappointed with the brake s. Leather is a bit on the cheap side. But for 25 grand and all the features provided this car is a very good value for the money. Safety features are quick impressive. The only complaint is the lane assist is too powerful. When driving under normal conditions the when the car drifts even a little bit no where near to the point it will cross lanes the car jerks back I have shut it off in most cases. When buying this car I tried to get the dealership to switch the rims with a cheaper model from ultimate to the premium rims. Did not like the look with the rims on the ultimate. Dealership would not switch rims. In the process of purchasing after market rims. Interior is plain compared to the last Hyundai Veloster model. Exterior has some nice features with the ground effects. Rear of the car looks perfect. Excellent job with fixing the rear window problem.100 percent better Than previous model. Sound system is good. Love the cruise control feature that allows the car to slow down on its own when you are within a certain range with the cars ahead and then speeds up again when it’s clear. Hyundai has always provided a terrific warranty with their product. I will continue to support the Hyundai brand.

Fun tuner

Good car, fun, worth the price. I would pick this car over the GTI, GLI, Elentra GT N-Line, and Civic Si I have owned over the last 2 years. Sounds great, lots of features for the price. Interior is a bit cheap, but everything you touch is nice such as the seats, steering wheel, gear shifter, infotainment controls.

Almost perfect

I really like this little car and it’s mileage. However the car is so small till the Sideview mirrors do not show the next lane over when you’re driving on the highway. Also I’m used to more bells and whistle’s with an automatic transmission and possibly turbo car.

Awesome Styling. Great Performance for the Price

This is one of the most powerful cars you can buy for just under $30k (if you know how to negotiate)! Also, manual transmission only! Driver focused features (last year without nannies). Such a fantastic car. Only knocks are rearward visibility is limited and paint quality is suspect (get paint protection on front facing panels!)

this was my dream car, and i still love it with all my heart. the only tiny thing i would change is the space, FOR A SMALL CAR it is spacious, but having this car for a year has proved we need a little more space. no big deal great quick little car

2020 VELOSTER N

overall decent car. Does what it should. Best features include what it DOESN'T HAVE, ie stupid engine start/stop, blind spot, park assist, auto braking, adaptive cruise, etc. Stereo power and sub/sound could be better. seats a bit low. Ability to raise would help. make dead pedal 1/2 as large so foot can pass. Engine/tranny issues as described.

Good vehicle.

Fun to drive. Looks cool - especially with tinted windows. All Black very sinister looking. Needs more power. May upgrade to Veloster N. But paint quality (black) is poor. Left turn visibility obscured.

2020 veloster rspec

I bought my rspec 1 year ago today and I love my car it is fun and enjoyable to drive. my only issue and why I'm not giving it 5 stars is that around August my velostet started to misfire. now my car was stock and only had 13k miles on the engine and car, so no reason to have this issue. I took it to the dealership 3 times and on the 3rd time they told me I would need a whole new engine. now hyundai did replace the engine I was grateful for, but it should of not had to happen on a stock engine that was taken care of. thats my only issue the car itself is amazing and the company to, but my only worry now is how good my engine is and if it will happen again. and if it happens again will they cover it? but other then that amazing car!

My commute is always fun

I chose this vehicle because it get great gas mileage however still performs very well. It handles very well and it’s not slow by any means. A blast to drive. I also appreciate the 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.

2020 Hyundai Veloster

This vehicle has a very spacious interior and cargo area for such a small car. It has lots of modern features and is very fun to drive. The exterior design and style are very appealing. Unfortunately, road noise is very high and its a rough ride over bumps and uneven road surfaces. Also, there is no air conditioning in the back seat and passengers are not as comfortable as those in the front.

2020 Veloster N with PP

Aside from some bad luck, this has been a great car. I purchased it in June of 2020, was sideswiped by an 18-Wheeler in December of 2020, and had two blowouts in two days in February of 2021. Apparently the original tires were not covered by a road hazard warranty, so the blowout cost me $650.00 and a missed day of work. These vehicles are NOT equipped with a spare tire kit, and the fix-a-flat device is useless in a blowout situation. Afterwards, I picked up a spare tire kit online for about $300.00. The N drives and sounds fantastic, though!

A fire cracker of a sports car

Took a 911 Porch at a red light for about 100 yards.......then it ran off and left me in the dust ! So it has get up and go more so than you would expect particularly when you consider the reasonable price. Is easy to handle, and responds well to controls. Could use a power drivers seat and put a suspension under it that does not knock your fillings loose on a bumpy road !

Recall issue not addressed

I need the recall corrected before this become a larger issue. I love the car but if the ring issue is not corrected soon the engine will require work . I wish if I was told before hand I would of Cc hanged my selection
