Great Sales Team and product
I love my car but their service dept. stinks. The people performing the work are sloppy and careless. I've gotten my oil changed already and later found oil dripping on my garage floor because they couldn't take the time to simply wipe up what drained onto the undercarriage of the care. Lazy!

What should go in this space?
The Ser. Man. and all personnel met were extremely courteous/polite. The lounge area was comfortable and well supplied with reading material and coffee. The car was washed without having to ask.

2 hours for a scheduled oil change. Was one month late for free oil change with only 2,500 miles on new vehicle so it cost me $80. Would have been less expensive and faster to have it serviced elsewhere.

Engine recall issues
The 2014 Sonata has en engine recall/class action suit for certain models, which includes mine. I was not given accurate information about the underlying cause of the reason why my car stopped working properly. Some warranty work was completed, but the root cause of why my engine was not working right was simply denied and covered up. I understand recalls cost the company money, but it wasn't my fault that my engine was machined improperly coming off the line. Metal shavings in the engine clearly ends up with engine failure or a class action suit wouldn't have been created. Just own up to what happened and make it right. And don't lie to customers who know nothing about cars and try to sell them a bunch of other products even though their car is going to die.

I apologize your experience was not satisfactory.
I want to tell you that by no means we were trying to take advantage of you or the situation.
Your vehicle needed alot of immediate and long term repairs.
The immediate repairs needed to be completed so we can address and eventually perform those long term repairs. 
There is a process that we (the dealer) and Hyundai that needs to be followed so the long term repairs can be covered/repaired under warranty.
My goal was to get to that point.
I am aware of the phrase "perception is reality" .. I know by your comments you feel you were mistreated.
I truly apologize for those feelings and would love another opportunity to gain your trust.

Please let me know if I can help with any future vehicle needs.

not completly honest and QOA of work needs improvent
had engine replaced, they missed several bolts on reinstall, mostof the wire looms and wire clips were just hanging not attached. they got tranny fluid all over the bottom and never cleNED IT, I ASKED ABOUT TRANNY THEY SAID ITS 100% FINE NO ISSUES but then they got tranny fluisd all over the bottom end and never cleaned it. this is only a start.

We take them very seriously.
I consulted our staff that was involved with your vehicle. They were quite suprised.
We feel your comments are misleading and take no consideration the condition of your vehicle when it arrived at our dealership.
Our advisor was extremely "up front and open" about the condition of your vehicle prior to the engine replacement and even made no promises about its condition after repairs. You responded "I agree and understand".
The multiple aftermarket components and the "creative" work performed previously elsewhere was extremely difficult to deal with. We did our best.

That being said, we stand behind our techs and the work they perform. If there is something that was not repaired correctly, we look forward to an opportunity to "right any wrongs".

Replace burned out brake light bulbs and charged twice $25.00 when they were changed within 3 weeks.
I never had this problem before at freedom when Eric savage was on top of it.
That Why i bought 2 Hyundai sonatas in within a 2 yr. period and also had my son buy a new vehicle this past yr.
My wife also bought a vehicle when savage was at 724 yrs. ago and my oldest brother bought 2 Hyundai accents in the last 8 yrs. at freedom.

I wish freedom would treat customers in the garage with more compassion in pricing there parts during a pandemc.ring a
Freedom used to be more fair and competing with pricing in the past not charging retired 1st. Responders, veteran, and senior citizen over twice for parts like rear burned out brake lights and windshield wipers for a state inspection.

I took a look over your visit and found no inflated pricing or exhuberant charges of any kind.
We are very conscious of our pricing, especially during this time of turmoil.
My most experienced technician was the one who worked on your vehicle. He is especially detailed in his diagnosis and repairs. This may have something to do with the extended wait time you may have felt.
Please keep in mind ... every repair we do carries a 12 month/12,000 mile parts & labor guarantee.
If that same bulb happens to blow out again within that time frame, I can replace it under warranty for you at no charge.

Please give us another opportunity to exceed your expectations. I believe we can do that.

I had an oil change and state inspection done at Freedom Hyundai. Scheduling was completed at the time I wanted. Work was performed in a short period of time and I was on my way. Great experience.
