Horrible experience
It took 2.5 months for my car to be fixed. Communication was terrible, both in the service department as well as through the corporate office. I called and left messages to see what was going on with my vehicle. My phones calls were not returned. I spent hours on hold trying to track down who could help expedite my case. After a month and a half, a case manager, Julie from Hyundai corporate, finally contacted me. She was condescending, rude, and dismissive. I was extremely put off by her attitude and turned off by the company as a whole.

Very disappointed!
Promised completion in 2.5 hours, actual completion 4 hours. I told them I had an appointment at noon, vehicle completed at 12:30 and I missed my appt. Service manager noted the battery was checked and OK, battery died the next day. That's a lot going wrong for $500.

I was a little apprehensive in going to the JN site, but when I found out that the Beretania Hyundae moved there, it was okay.

My car was serviced quickly.

Took one star away, cuz there were no courtesy car wash as before.

Good Service Makes Up for Location
For past 6 years had been getting our Sonata serviced at the Beretania dealer. Suddenly earlier this year, found out this location closed. We live in town so choices of Waipio or Kaneohe did not excite us. Then learned of the JN Hyundai dealer near the airport. Still not the most convenient but gave it a try. Had a little difficulty locating the Service area, which is not where the car sales area is. Little to no parking too. But our service advisor William Bulosan made up for any inconvenience we were experiencing. Wil provided friendly, professional, and courteous service as soon as we walked in. He explained in detail, about the services we were requesting, including cost estimates. Wil followed up with phone calls and messages throughout the day to keep us informed. At the end of the day, he was there to welcome us back and made sure we were happy with the services provided.

Will the service guy was very helpful
The mainland office helped me a lot and they explained my warranty and what was covered. Also paid for my rental car but I was stuck on cash and couldn’t really get a rental car at first so a loaner would’ve been nice

The place is small but handles the customers in an OK order. One problem they have is with the phones. First of all they have trouble answering the phones and when you leave a message they tend to not return the call. Frustrating indeed!
