My wires were cut by the service dept
Please take the time to read I promise it’ll save you so much time . DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. I’ve had my Hyundai palisade for 2 years it’s a 2021 I got it a soon as they came out I work from home so I rarely use it it has 25k miles I use it for grocery’s the occasional dinner outing . I always get the yearly check up my oil changes twice a year for weather change hot and cold.

I got recalls on it recently for a tow hitch and windshield wiper. I took it in Dec 26th and they tried charging me for a brake fluid flush I denied because my car isn’t even 30k miles in.

I turn my car on Sunday morning I have 4 diff lights turning on ABS, collision, anti lock and another one. I go to oreilys to get it checked , guy lets me know Internal nothings popping up car looks fine the brake fluid is still good not even at the half way mark it’s not burnt or a diff color .
So Monday comes I take it to our buddy’s shop down the road he checks it out doesnt find anything under the hood no leaks, no cuts nothing. He finds it weird and recommends us to go down the road to his buddy’s same thing nothing found . We finally pull up Tuesday morning today drop my car off in the morning mind you we check my car thinking we’re going crazy making sure nothings serious in our eyes nothing

I get a text message “ Hey it's Isaac with Greenville Hyundai. I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know that upon the initial visual inspection we found some rodent damage under the hood of the vehicle. I just wanted to let you know that we have not searched deeper so we do not know the extent of the damage as of yet. However, because it is rodent damage, it will not be anything covered under warranty“

Convenient for them right. So I said send my some pictures as you can see he sent me the ones all in black tape still . I went down there to take a look myself clean cut wire and I’m furious at this point bc the cut wire is such an obvious thing he easily popped it out right infront of us hard to miss and said “yea this happens a lot in this area we see these all the time” so if you live in Greenville and have had rodent damage on your Hyundai car please please check it and do not let them think ur stupid. I spoke to the manager Chris Pearsall and he said himself “our cars need brake fluid flush at 60k miles and up “
I went to the body shop our buddy has and he took a look at the wires and peeled the tape off to see whoever cut it the wires almost cut down the green wire as well. Smart rat only took 2 … yea a rat named Isaac .
Went back talked to manager Chris again who told me we might have rats ahahah … showed him the picture again and asked him if it looked like a rodent did that and his response was “that looks man made” well no dip ..
he really had the audacity to ask “well how do you know someone at the other shop didn’t do thsi” right infront of our face Chris? We were there the entire time watching them inspect my car before and after cut. The fact that Isaac told us “we see a lot of these here” makes me think how many more people have to ey done this too and gotten away. This is how Hyundai in Greenville does business guys and they don’t own up to it . Great job ??

Provided a picture of what an actual rodent damage looks like feel free to use it as a reference Chris and Isaac for next time
