Wonderful vehicle

This is the seventh Chrysler minivan I’ve owned and so far the best. It’s old and starting to rust but it rides and handles like it did when it was brand new. It’s been a very dependable vehicle that’s mechanically sound. Needless to say I take pretty good care of it!

Good Ride

Crossover SUVs are popular but expensive, get poor mileage, passenger and cargo space is cramped. Pick up trucks are also very similar.. The old Minivan is not as popular these days but are comfortable, roomy, hauls more than most trucks and gets better mileage. Maintenance and insurance is cheaper, too.

Sub par vehicle

The rust! So much rust! All in all, it's a descent vehicle. I bought it used for 1500 so and have had it for 3 years. Had to replace break lines. Nor real mechanical issues. There is a lot of sludge on the engine, so it does leak oil slightly. Nothing too significant. It's an old van. I'm sure I would better like the newer ones.

Town & Country

The vehicle had a lot of problems until I quit taking it to the dealer for Service and Repair. Since then I have had no major problems.

Chrysler Town and Country Van

We needed a van to drive the kids around and I would rate it as an average C+ van. The inside space is excellent was well as the seats and cup holders. Our transmission went out at 70K miles but was covered by Chrysler's warranty. Engine blew out at about 100K and got a new one for $3500. Out side is holding up well to rust except for a big spot by the passenger side wheel well (12 in x 8 in). A few other minor rust spots. The van did its job but I am disappointed by the poor workmanship on the engine and transmission. It is still running at 126K and gets about 22 mpg. If you like sitting high above traffic it is great. Handling is OK for a van.

I Love My Van

I bought my Vhrysler Town & Country from a Pauly Honda Dealer in Libertyville IL. This van was a miracle. My parents up above were totally watching over me when I had been going through a tough time of moving. Bottom line: This van had and still serves me well. I now live in Lake of the Ozarks. Since my move it needed a rack and pinion. Noe bearings on one of my tires needed to be replaced. The ac needs an entire replacemnt. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this vehicle. I love this van and hate to get a new vehicle. This is a 2002 mini van.
