2012 Ford Fusion

Wonderful car for the money. It has some significant nuisance issues such as the AC acting strangely. This isn't so much the car itself, but how Ford responds to service customers. I'm lucky if they even call back. I'm concerned about the contacts about recalls that don't affect my vehicle. Who do I believe? I've had Ford cars and trucks for decades but the company has lost sight of the customer.

2012 Ford Fusion

Solid car. Was very dependable. I purchased the car after the Automotive Bailout. Ford took no money from the government. I had been a Toyota and Honda person previously. I just purchased a 2017 Ford Fusion.

Good quality vehicle!

I have a 20012 4 cyc., runs great! The snyc program is what sold me the first time I got in the vehicle. The SEL upgrades are worth the convenience! Don't get me wrong, there have been some recalls, but Ford has taken care of all of them! Very happy with my choice.

Great car built right!

My Ford Fusion Sport has been an amazing, dependable car! From the tires that lasted over 75,000 miles, to the style, dependability, comfort and speed I need, Ford built this one tough. It's no wonder dealers and the like are always looking to buy it back, one of the best made Fords I have owned, and I've had many! Ford, built tough!!

I love my Ford Fusion, I just wish it had temp readings and a compas.

It has always started right up and gets me where I'm going, very reliable. It's the 1st Ford I've ever had. My son talked me into it and I haven't regretted it for a moment.

Awesome

My husband has always been a Ford man. So when it was time to get another vehicle I checked into the Ford Fusion. It was a big adjustment for me to go from a SUV to the Fusion, but I love the car. Drives smooth, good on gas and I have had the car for 3 and half years and no problems.

2012 Ford Fusion

Excellent car, but costly to repair if a deer hits you or you hit it. Also, it is made for the city and warmer climates for it is not the greatest in snow. When in snow, it does have some weight to it, so that helps. It is comfortable for driving long distance. Good on gas.

Front wheel alignment is a little touchy compared to the 2006 Sable had. Else it is the perfect car for me.

Problems with Gas nozzle

!) For some reason that no one has been able to explain, my nozzle gets stuck in the neck of the gas tank. The dealership replaced the neck but it did not help. This was not a problem until the car was about 1 year old. the first time - unexpected incident - was awful. It was about 5:00 in the evening. I could not remove the nozzle after filling. The Mobil gas station manager tried to help but to no avail. I called the Ford roadside assistance 800- number. The man answering was very nice and obviously recognized my anxiety but could not really help. Several people filling their cars tried to help. Again, no resolution. I was tethered to the pump. This went on for several hours. The station wanted to close. I started to cry. The station called the police. Two cars came and were finally able to get the nozzle out. I was supposed to travel several hundred miles with the next few days but cancelled because I was afraid of fueling so far from home. The status now is that I put the nozzle in carefully and not very far in. This usually shuts off the pump several times but finally, if I hold the nozzle exactly in the same position, I can get fuel into the car. By the way, this happens not only at Mobil stations. I have had the same experience at BP and other stations. The dealer tried to help but I don't think I will purchase another Ford. 2) the heating/cooling system does not work well. (I admit I have not taken the car into the dealership.) Sometimes the heat/AC does not kick in until I am nearly home. This means I have driven over 1/2 hour before it starts to work. 3) Sometimes acceleration is jerky with thrusts forward. Again, my fault that I have not addressed this with the dealer.
