Love my G80

Replaced a Mercedes C-Class due to service issues. Very happy to find Genesis - best car I’ve owned! Found a new/old stock 2017 and got a great deal. Bonus that they took my Mercedes. Very quiet; love all the features. Reliability has impressed. V6 was adequate for my needs.

Middle Ground, Luxury Performance

I say the G80 is a no brainer simply because there isn't any other vehicle within its price category that gives you as much as three G80 does. I have the 3.8 V6. I enjoy the ultra quiet cabin as well as the exceptional seat comfort. I always choose one convenience option package up from the base model, which gives me anything from smart cruise to lane departure to 3d view cameras to aid in parking, also included is heated seats front and back as well as air conditioned front seats. The Upgraded Lexicon sound system is among the best I've experienced in a vehicle. My combined MPG (mostly city than highway) is always around 21 mpg.

Genesis G80 review

vehicle drives very nice, very comfortable upscale vehicle. Get many looks with my G80. My first and 2nd generation Genesis was faster at 5.7 seconds 0 to 60 but the G80 gets only 6.6. MPG is better on earlier generation as well. G80 ultimate is best.

Car

Nice, but I loved the look of my 2012 better!! This works but I really loved the look of my 2012 limited edition. I didnt get the pre owned status because Fl had not switch to that like GA had, so that was upsetting!!! Colors are nice, but I would have preferred another color that they only offered on one vehicle, a beautiful soft blue color.

Luxury and Class

I love my 2017 G80! I call it The Midnight Rider. I have been a fan of Hyundai since 2002 and have had the best vehicles. They are still operational (2002, 2013, 2017)! Not sure what I will get next but I do know and very confident that Hyundai will surprise me with some grand!

Best car there is !

Great car and rides like a dream . The Tuscaloosa Genesis staff and service are great ! I get another one some day . A lot of people love my car better than their Mercedes, and BMW I believe there is no other car better for the money. Better than any luxury car out there to me.

G80

This is without a doubt the best car I have ever owned. It has just turned 25,000 miles and not one problem with it. The AWD works great and the car sticks to the road like it was glued to it. I tell everyone who asks about the car what it is and what it is like, and the service is top notch I just wish I lived closer to a dealership so they could come and pick it u for service.

Love my Genesis

The Vehicle review title says it all. However because of the distance from my residence to a dealership I would not purchase another Genesis nor would I recommend that anyone residing in my county of residence (State of California County of San Mateo) purchase one.

Best Vehicle I've Ever Owned

Best car I have ever owned. Impressed with the comfort, luxury and room this car provides. The engine provides plenty of power and acceleration and is matched with a smooth transmission. The four drive modes and the AWD is perfect for New England. Great all around vehicle!

Something wrong under car

Overall car nice. Bought used. Noise from tires/drivetrain related to speed and dealer unable to find out what it is. Sounds like a muffled helicopter at 45 MPH on good pavement. Earlier models had a rear axle issue requiring replacement. Mine is on 3rd rear differential with noise still there. tires? Dealer baffled.

Best car I have ever owned

Combination of luxury and performance. I love the three driving modes. The ride is outstanding in ECO and Normal moes, however, when you switch to Sport you have a true sports sedan. My G-80 is a 3.8 and has lots of power to go along with the superior handling. This is an outstanding vehicle.

Excellent vehicle, I am glad that I chose to lease the G80, It is comfortable, roomy, powerful, a great road car and is comparable with the Continental, BMW 5 series or E 350, yet it comes with more features than all of them for a lot less money, I look forward to driving the 2021

Genesis 80 fun with get up and go!

I have years of experience owning a broad range of quality autos. After 60 years of experience, Hyundai brand won me over as I kept my first one for 10 yrs. I never kept any of the luxury autos owned in the past for more than 4 yrs. This includes foreign and American very luxury autos. My 10 yr Azera won me over to Hyundai and am enjoying my current Genesis 80.

Love My G80!!!

My son recommended the Genesis G80. I was a little hesitant about purchasing a Hyundai product (my sister had the horrible Excel). After doing some research, I decided to purchase. I have been more than pleased with my Genesis G80. It has been a great performing vehicle. I would highly recommend the Genesis brand.

Fantastic car

If your looking for a very good vehicle and don’t want the expensive service that goes with it, you should definitely consider Genesis. If you want a luxury vehicle that is modern, fun to drive, with a great warranty and thousands of dollars less than most of the European models, Genesis has models as good or better. My G80 is an awesome car, best car I’ve owned.

An OUTSTANDING car

I bought this vehicle it only had about 250 miles and that was in 2017. It is now 2020 and I only have about 5300 hundred miles, my point is I only drive it too have it service and around town when the urge calls for it. But I do like to drive around town and look at all the admires , admiring my CAR.

Great looking and operating vehicle Best car I have had over 50 years

I’m finishing my second genesis lease and will get the 2021 model. Best car I have ever had during the past 50 years. The people at the dealership have been wonderful. And professional at every level. The car operates so smooth and easy . There are times I forget to turn the car off because the engine is so quiet. I have Rec over a dozen buyers to pat Amerillo who has been a no pressure But professional and informative salesman.

Great Value for Luxury

I purchased this model just as Hyundai was creating a separate division for Genesis. What a great value! It is priced below comparable competitor vehicles and offers more. Unlike some brands that have built in expensive scheduled maintenance, this vehicle is what you would expect from the best Asian brands. It is very reliable and affordable to operate. I have had no problems with it in 3 1/2 years. It runs great, beautiful body styling, nice interior finish and lots of safety and creature comfort features. To top it all off, I have logged several trips on Eco Drive at 30+ miles per gallon; all while encountering multiple grade changes. A real bonus for an engine with plenty of power when you need it. Can't say enough about how pleased I have been with this purchase. Oh, did I say it is now ranked with the top luxury cars in its class, not to mention JD Powers awards!

Very good car at half the price of a Lexus. Excellent design. Very roomy and big trunk space. Twenty two mpg at least. Very low maintenance. It has All the electronics one needs. GPS, surround sound, lane assist, etc
