Genesis Competes with German Luxury

The Genesis G80 Sport is a fantastic value, the style is great, the technology is very good and the overall comfort is excellent. My biggest complaint is the vehicle's weight, nearly 4500 pounds for a mid-size luxury car is 300 pounds too much.

Great riding car with tons of safety options.

The comfortable ride and the power of the engine are awesome. The safety features are absolutely necessary for anyone that has to drive in today's traffic conditions. The safety features that are most important to me include: 1) the Adaptive Cruise Control (it will slow you down and/or stop you if someone quickly pulls in front of you and is stopping or slowing down quickly), 2) the Blind Spot Indicator (that lets you know if something is in your blind spot, and will beep if you signal to change lanes while the blind spot is occupied), 3) the Heads Up Display (that appears on the windshield showing mph and other safety indicators so you don't have to face away from looking forward while driving), and 4) the responsive braking system .

High value luxury

Take the Genesis out for a ride. Until you do that, stop talking. Then take out the competition. ALL of them. Now take the GENESIS out again. The performance is outstanding. The ride and drivability is outstanding. If you're a badge snob, you'll find something to hate. If you're a value shopper, you know what to do. With the Genesis you can actually afford ALL of the advertised safety and convenience features. This ain't complicated, folks. Yes. I preferred the Lincoln Conti interior seats. Yes I would prefer better fuel economy from one of the German 4s. Yes, I would love the look of a Jaguar wrapped around me. I couldn't be happier with this "compromise", all of the performance and affordable features, the reliability . . . and the money growing in the bank.

Incredible car - great value, super styling, great performance, design 2nd to none

I traded in a 2017 Corvette Z07 which was over $100k - I decided I wanted a full size car and checked out many many cars - a friend had a G90 which I was impressed with. After test driving a G80 Sport I was sold. The car is just "rock solid" - masterfully designed, incredible maintenance and warrant package. My wife liked my new car so much I bought her a G80 for her birthday. We both think the G80 is the nicest car we have owned and I have owned Jags, Caddilacs, Corvettes, Fords, Audis and Genesis is in a league of its own and a great buy.
