As indicated earlier, the purchase of my G80 3yrs ago has been an overall wonderful experience. I don't put on a lot of miles, this is a 2nd car. Since my purchase I have not had an issue. Interesting experience after having had so many other cars during my life.

2018 G80 sport review

With the 2018 g80 sport i appreciated the fact that luxury features such as leather and panoramic sunroof. I am at a crossroads in regards to leasing a 2021 model as the price has increased considerably in comparison to the 2018 model with equivalent features. Ia also am trying to get the most for my money in regards to features and if I'm going to be paying close to $60k I will be looking at other brands such as mercedes benz or audi.

Best car I have ever had.

I have had over 15 vehicles over the years and the G80 is by far the best riding one that I have had. The comfort and smoothness of the drive is the same in the city or on the highway. It comes with features that are not available in more expensive competitors. The roominesscin front and back make it much more comfortable me or friends who are with us than other cars I have owned and the only time I have had service done on it is for its 7500 mile checkiups.

for the money this car is the bomb you have heated/ac seats, all possible comforts, sound system and gps are great you get genesis valet service, we pay nothing for service calls, good performance sunroof what more do you want. paint job perfect, seats nice.

wonderful automobile

The vehicle is outstanding. It looks good and performs very well. There is little or no road noise and the ride is extremely comfortable, like riding on a cloud. I would highly recommend the Genesis to a friend. Also would consider purchasing another, providing the price is right.

Terrific Car!

This is the second G80 I have leased and I could not be happier with the 2018 I have now and loved the first one as well. They are exceptionally well made, finishes are top of the line. The ride is great, smooth but with excellent handling and acceleration when needed. They stand up well over time and I think their styling is very attractive.

G80 is Luxury

The G80 competes well with the Audi, BMW and Mercedes at a lower price. I have driven. BMW 740 in the past and could not wait for the lease to expire. The G 80 has all the features I could imagine. Genesis truly aims to please their customers. Pay less and get more. Genesis makes driving a fantastic experience. I don’t expect to ever buy a different brand, although I plan to keep this car a long, long time.

Overall it is a good car and a fun driving experience!

Other than the few climate control system issues, I have had a great experience with the car. The car is fast responsive and very fun to drive. I went from a sport SUV to this Genesis g80 sport which was a big change because the car rides so much lower but the visibility was fine and the ride was tight and exciting. I am happy with the car overall.

I love this car and am thinking of getting the Genesis G80 Yr 2021 (that is how much I love this car). It is such a pleasure to drive. Very agile and super fast. The interior is comfortable and it is perfectly fitting for my body. The engine is very quite and smooth meaning one does not hear the gear shifting at all and even when I use the paddle, it is not noisy.

The G80 is comfortable. Great handling. It’s fun to drive and I find maintains control during serious moments. I love this car

My wife and decided we Should start looking for a replacement vehicle. We started researching on line, read the insurances safety records, handling characteristics, longevity, service, style comfort road noise etc. and we would visit different Car dealers on weekends. At the end of 5 months we narrowed it down to 5 vehicles. When we saw the G80 it was love at first drive. We wound up driving it Home. It’s perfection on 4 wheels. I can go on and on about the services. Let’s just say Excellent.

Great alternative to a Mercedes or a BMW

I purchased the 2018 Genesis G80 5.0 V8 Ultimate with HTRAC. Ultimate edition provides lots of luxurious features. V8 provides plenty of power and is fun to drive. Vehicle gives the impression to be solid build with nice materials selected. Controls seems to be well thought through. Great, sporty look. Very comfortable seats, that can be adjusted in many ways. Love the big moon roof.

Want to have fun, save money, get compliments on your car and strike up conversations with positive people?

My Genesis G80 replaced my 2015 Hyundai Genesis with exactly the same color combination and personal enthusiasm. Once I began driving it regularly I was asked by others, "is that a Bentley?", "what kind of car is that" and just flatly..."Nice Car!". It handles like a dream, the suspension absorbs rough roads without making it feel spongy, and the G80 has more than enough power to get into trouble with the law. It has a lower profile without giving you the sensation of sitting on the pavement. Body integrity is impressive while the interior appointments are comparable to a much more expensive vehicle. Great gas economy is not the reason for buying this Genesis but current price of gasoline makes that issue a non-starter. My largest family members still find plenty of room in the back seat and prefer to be passengers in this wondrous automobile. Once you allow someone to drive it, they will be hooked. Bottom line: if it were a potential spouse (no offense to my loving wife) I would not hesitate to tie the knot. Neither will you!

Great car - exterior look is sharp, notably the grille. Interior design works well - seems to be well thought-out. Only comment is desire to have more choices of exterior color and interior elements (seat color, having wood trim instead of carbon fiber).

Customer Service sells itself.

Your service departments are going to hurt you, no matter how well you make a car. And it’s a great car. I’d start to make that your emphasis on North America. My experience has not been equal to that when I had a BMW, and and Audi. My gut told me go for the value luxury and I’m paying for it in other ways not just financially.

Love my G80

Genesis G80 is excellent for quality and amenities provided at a good price compared to other brands. Knowing that Genesis Co. is still going through "growing pains" just like any other brand trying to break into this market, I hope they are successful and get firmly established so that they can provide the level of service and recognition the brand deserves. Great product for the money, just need to fine-tune the service and obligations made to really be a total success!
