Love this car

The 2019 G80 is my fifth Genesis. Other than an occasional flat tire, I’ve never needed a repair on any of the vehicles. The car is a great value with a sticker price that is probably $20,000 below comparable vehicles. The car has every conceivable safety feature. The 2019 has front, rear and overhead cameras which are great when maneuvering in tight spaces. My only issue is that when the company dropped the Hyundai identification, the lease price went up considerably for essentially the same car. Nevertheless, it is a great value and I will continue to be a loyal customer.

Luxury, Style and Persona

I have researched and delayed my purchase for about a year. I have looked at other luxury brands in the market and finally made the commitment to buy the Genesis G80 Sport. Being a professional that works with wealthy clients that can afford most any car they wish I have no reservations pulling up in the Genesis. The styling of the vehicle in the Sport model fits my personality with the lines of the car. The attention to the details of the trim on the outside with the copper accents, aggressive front grill and led lights, the rims are also most impressive in design and fit this trim model. The seats are heated and cooled with perforations and each perforation is accented isn’t he copper coloring. The ability to put the car in Sport mode you will feel and hear the car come to life. The every day driver becomes the weekend sport car we all crave. The Eco mode allows me to get the gas mileage that I wish when traveling the distances that I do. The heads up display keeps me engaged with the road and see the navigation to my next destination. Living in a climate with winter months the Genesis app allows me to start the car and enter with warmth and the app allows me to do that from anywhere. In have five of us in the family and the car handles the fine of us very well. Luxury at this price level is what brought me to making the decision to buy this brand and model.

Very, very happy with our new G80. It is better than advertised. If I should need another car in the future I will purchase another Genesis. Quality and performance is second to non. the features surpass cars that are much more expensive. Thank you very much for asking me to do the survey.

2019 Genesis G80 Owners Overall Rating after 12 Months.

Overall I'm quite pleased with my Genesis Manufactured Product. Unfortunately I experienced severe problems with the front two Continental tires early on. I should have been informed by my Dealership that a Warranty Claim could have been made to Continental Tire. I was told no Factory Warranty is available on the tires so I went to Discount Tire to purchase the two Tires. I also purchased the Insurance in case there is a design flaw with Wheel and Suspension compatibility.

I’d Buy Again (and again, and again....)

I researched almost two years before buying my 2019 G80 Sport. I look carefully at Audi, Lexus, and Lincoln. My Genesis provides comfort, style, handling, and zip—and it’s just so nice to look at. Maybe the best part is the value and reliability. I look for every opportunity to drive.

Genesis Man

I have a 2016 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Ultimate and a 2018 Genesis G80 Sport. I haven’t had a problem with either vehicle. They’ve both been very dependable and reliable to me. And coming from a former Marine and former SWAT Officer, I’d say that’s pretty darn good! Thank you Hyundai and Genesis!!!

GREAT CAR

This car has proven that you can get luxury for a fraction of the other luxury cars. The ride is great, the handling is fantastic, the overall quality inside and out is excellent. I would recommend the Genesis G80 to anyone. The support I have received from the dealership has been great as well.

I think Genesis is having an engineering on this vehicle

Have owned a 2017 Genesis G80 with no issues. My 2019 had the same problem as my 2020 just purchased. Vibration which they can not identify the solution to correct. 2019 was declared a lemon on the lemons. Although it took 5 moths to resolve the buy out of my lease, Genesis was very good to work with.

Great car but poor aerodynamics

Great torque, acceleration, styling, ride and purchase experience. Interior is designed with taste and thought for luxury. The only knock against the car so far (and the reason why I gave it 4 stars) is the interior noise coming from both passenger side windows from breaking the wind at higher speeds (>60 mph). There is some problem with aerodynamics that isn’t there with other luxury brands. So, the ride isn’t as quiet as it should be.

Genesis is a good stylish car.

None at this time thanks no thanks I don't have any more at this time the car is very good product the I don't have any more things to say the genesis needs more 12 volt plugs in the back for phones and games for 50.000.00 dollar I think it should more 12 volt plugs in the back.

Beautiful sporty design, powerful twin turbo engine. Handles flawlessly on any road surface. Comfortable interior with many features and accents. While behind the wheel you can see people looking and admiring the vehicle as you drive by. I feel like a young kid again.

G80 1 YEAR LATER

After one year of ownership I still find this vehicle fun to drive, still impressed with navigation, interior and overall looks of the vehicle. The interior is quiet and well fitted. I would like to see a little softer ride but that would probably be a trade-off for handling. The one big complaint I do have is the front seats. I personally do not find them comfortable especially on long drives. It is nice to know it has a very high safety rating. If you are looking for excellent fuel mileage you will need to look at a different vehicle. I believe with a few refinements this could be a 5 star vehicle.

2019 G80 3.3T AWD

We drove the G70, which was excellent, but decided on the G80 series for the extra room, comfort and luxury feel, while still enjoying the performance features by choosing the G80 3.3T AWD. We've owned the vehicle almost one full year and have been extremely satisfied. Every one of our friends that have driven with us have been extremely impressed with the ride and comfort. I especially enjoy the Sport mode driving option, it is noticeably more "sporty" response, shifting and sound, without any noticeable impact on mpg. We chose this over a fully loaded Audi A6, which was also a nice vehicle, but the overall styling, looks and all the included features made the difference. Two very outstanding features that every single person has commented on when they drive with us are the clarity of the Nav/Entertainment display screen, which far exceeds any other vehicle we tested, and the Lexicon, 17 speaker audio system, with the Jukebox feature (fantastic), which I really appreciate being an audio/stereophile person with a very state-of-the art audio system in our home. We just love driving this vehicle, and we're looking forward to the new SUV to replace our existing SUV.

Everything is perfect except MPG

The vehicle is amazing. It’s gorgeous, it’s luxurious (and as someone who’s parents bought literally whatever they wanted, I know luxury). Don’t let the “its a Hyundai” mentality hold you back. If the MPG was better than it is, it’d be 5 stars easily.

Great Car

I have leased the Genesis since it was introduced in 2009. My 2019 is my fifth. The car has proven to be very reliable and a good value compared to other luxury vehicles. However I must say that when the Hyundai identification was dropped, the lease price went up substantially. I am paying about $150 a month more for my 2019 than I paid for my 2016 which was essentially the identical vehicle.

This is my third Genesis sedan. I loved my last car (2017) and did not want to change. I have approximately 800 miles on my new 2019 G80 and absolutely love it...19 in wheels give it an even better feel! I could not be happier. I highly recommend this car to all my friends.

My 3rd Genesis

This is my 3rd Genesis. 2010, 2016 and 2019. I was waiting for the 2020 to come out but to no avail. I extended my lease for 5 months because of it and disappointed I lost out on early lease turn in rebates. I wanted the new body style that never came out.
