Genesis G80 3.8

Even though I drove this car near the dealership, I wish the ride was much smoother on roads I regularly drive in Phoenix and Glendale AZ. Disappointed! Remote start slow and troublesome(intermittently shuts off after less than 10 minutes when opening doors to load passengers. Bluetooth disconnects when Iphone is connected via USB. Concerned that when I get hearing aids they won't connect to bluetooth so I can't have simultaneous benefits of Apple Car Play and benefits of bluetooth for hearing aids. LOVE My New G80

I tuned in my 2016 Genesis 3.8 and leased a new 2019 G80 that was fully loaded. I LOVE my G80! It handles beautifully, is fun to drive and is so quiet! I've seen a lot of people check it out as I'm at a stop light or stop sign and I just smile. I'm a devoted Genesis fan!

Genesis Dream

My Genesis is a dream car and am so happy with my purchase, however this survey is much too long. Would strongly recommend everyone test drive the Genesis before they make up their mind which vehicle to purchase ...guarantee they will come back. I'm happy I did too.

Stylish vehicle packed with tons of features and plenty of power . Fantastic value considering all the standard features on my 2019 3.3 L turbo sport model , only option 2 wheel drive or AWD drive model . Extremely comfortable ride and great acceleration with the sport model and easy to use navigation and climate control systems .

Looks great; all the luxury you could want; every feature available; quiet; drives great -- the best car I've ever owned, with the bonus of all the free 3yr/36month packages, a salesman Jeremy went way above & beyond/very accessible; good dealership -- couldn't ask for more

Car broke down with 741 miles on it while driving on the highway.

I have had this car for less than one month and it has been in the dealership twice for repairs. It shipped with a problem where the spare tire well was filling with water and was at the dealership for 2 days and needed to have a the trunk gasket replaced. I only found out about the issue when i looked for the locking nut key. Thank god I did or there might have been an even bigger issue. the water was only in the spare tire well the carpet did not get wet so if I hadn't looked who knows how long that would have gone on for. My biggest issue is that the car died on the highway at 75mph. Thankfully I did not get into an accident. the car was at the dealership for 7 days (5 business days). In the end the dealership found out that it was the fuel pump control module and replaced it. I have driven 50 miles so far so good. During this the dealership was good to deal with the issue is that when I talked to some one from Hyundai (genesis) they really didn't seem to care. The tow company that they sent damaged the plastic cover on the shit lock in the car. I asked if it could be repaired and was told that I would need to pay for it. Seriously it is a small piece of plastic that couldn't cost more than $5. I was told that I might need to buy the whole assembly for over $100 and pay for the labor and try to get the tow company to cover it. Well I don't even know who the tow company is because it is genesis that sent them out in the first place. This is supposed to be a luxury brand right where is the customer service and care? I traded in a perfectly good 2015 genesis with no issues and now I have a car that has been in the repair shop twice and broke down on the highway with less than 750 miles on it. This car is a value if it doesn't break down in the first month. PS if you are going to market a car as a sport model put a sport exhaust on it like the other luxury brands do. If you need an example just go listen to a BMW M3.

Fantastic Car

This is my second Genesis. It is a very comfortable car for driving in traffic and open highway. It has everything that I wanted. The V8 engine is very smooth and powerful. The gas mileage is very good with mixed city and highway driving. My friends say it is very comfortable in the back.

Genesis 80 Sport

Happy with the car but too complicated for both the bluetooth and navigation systems. You need some formal training for new users as Acura did when my wife bought her new Acura MDX in 2014. Overall you've built a beautiful automobile and I like it very much but it is difficult to learn all the features. Thus you're a victim of your own success. Just takes too long to learn them all.

G80 Sport-Fun car!

Recently leased a 2019 G80 Sport model. Love the car! Completely met my expectations. Quality ride. Friends and co-workers have commented on the attractiveness of the vehicle. One thought it was a Bentley. Good experience at the dealership, Genesis of Baldwin, a St. Louis suburb. Salesman was friendly but businees-like, He was not pushy or overbearing which I appreciated. He found me the exact car I wanted through a dealer trade in a short amount of time. I previously leased a 2013 Hyundai Equus, which has been replaced by the Genesis G90. The Equus was also an excellent vehicle, and I fully expect a similar experience from the G80. Genesis has their act together, and is even coming out soon with a line of SUV's later this year.

Great luxury sedan

2019 Genesis G80 sport package won’t disappoint. Roomy, quiet comfort at a competitive price point. Reliability and cost to maintain also very attractive. Since our 2-12 Hyundai Genesis and then our 2017 Genesis G80 the cars keep improving. I was pleasantly surprised that we enjoy our 2019 G80 even more than the 2017 which we loved.

We really like our vehicle; handling, comfort, luxury and safety features. We are impressed with the heads up displays and the standard warranty - let's us know that Genesis is really putting the whole company behind their product. The attention at the dealership was great. For the price this vehicle offers a great package and definitely puts the competition at the defensive. Can't wait to see the SUV designs to come to market in the future. A true sports car would complete the palette.

I just purchased the 2019 Genesis G80 and this is my 4th car with the Hyundai/Genesis brand. I would consider myself the walking advertisement for Genesis. The only thing that I am disappointed in, is that the model that I have did not have a CD player. This is the Best car for the style, price, and economics of comparable cars.

Leased a new G80 with the Sport package end of April. Car is loaded with safety features and has a bit more sporty appearance than base G80. Have received a number of compliments on the look....and the sporty looking wheels with the bronze accent rings. When sport mode is on it definitely improves acceleration and handling.

Exceptional car

The Genesis G80 Sport is easily the best car I have ever owned. The mix of Luxury and Performance are spot on, add in the Best in Class safety features and you cant go wrong. Sit in one and test drive it, you will be hooked, and for thousands less than the competition.

Havanna Red 2019 Genesis G80

I absolutely loved my new Havanna Red Genesis G80! Unfortunately, I was broken hearted that I was involved in an accident that totaled the vehicle after less than 3 months of owning it. I replaced the G80 with a G70 only because I found I preferred the overall size better for my driving habits, after years of driving small two-seater sports models.

Great vehicle, even better value

The Genesis G80 is a fantastic vehicle. Great appearance, great performance, amazing standard feature list, and quality workmanship. Genesis should be viewed as on par with the typical luxury/performance vehicles, and I think should actually be placed above many brands based on the value provided. I could not be more pleased with my G80 and would have no hesitation purchasing it again or recommending it to others.
