Interior is junk
I purchased my Azera new in April 2014. I got a great deal off the $38k sticker price and with all the luxuries, (heated and cooled seats, navigation, driver and passenger electric seats etc). In Dec 2014 I noticed the paint peeling on the chrome of my steering wheel, dealer replaced it under warranty. In 2016 I noticed it happening again as well as the same issue on the grill/bumper. It's somewhat of a bubbling/peeling issue, not a chipping. Dealer replaced both. It's now 2018 and its happened again in the exact same place of the steering wheel and now around the stereo. Dealer wont replace anymore. I contacted hyundai affairs and said it must be a weather issue, but its definitely not defective. I've also had to replace serpentine belt, batteries twice, and have intermittent issues with chimes and the radio. I have just over 60k miles on it. I cant imagine with the issues I've had that this is a car I can keep in decent shape for another 5 years. Its unfortunate to spend so much on a car to have such petty and annoying issues but ultimately it was hyundai USA that sealed the deal on losing my business for life. What would have cost them less than $400 to fix and to ignore all common sense and say having to replace the exact same issue every two years is not a defect is ridiculous.
