Expectations high and exceeded

Expected a lot in choosing Ioniq 5 but car has exceeded all and by wide margins. A pleasure to drive.

Turning radius

Small turning radius. There should be better indication of what to press to release charging cable. I have pulled it. Pressed the little button . Not sure if that actually works. There is kind of no feedback . Cup holders for rear?

We purchased this vehicle primarily for my around town. Within 2 weeks we did a 2200 mile roundtrip with it and it handle that well too.

My first EV

I have been looking at the car and was pleasantly surprised. It took two years for me to actually decide to purchase it, and my purchase was absolutely driven by the high gas prices. Once purchasing it and finding the numerous rebates I qualified for that made the deal even sweeter.

stylish and comfortable commute

The number of features is impressive, and the finish is stylish. This car has the range to be viable in replacing your gas vehicle. There is room for improvement in how the tech communicates with the driver, but it has buttons for important features instead of requiring touchscreen interaction. Overall great car.

The IONIQ 5 Drives Well and Has Great Range

I have had an IONIQ 5 for a little over 2 months and am very happy with its handling on the road and with its range. I am getting well over the EPA rating of 290 miles on a full charge around town, probably due to the regenerative braking. The range on the highway where I'm driving 70+ MPH is of course less with the increased air resistance and the lack of braking. That was at first surprising, but in retrospect it makes sense.

Terrific In All Respects!

This is my second Hyundai. My first was a 2023 Tucson Plug In Hybrid. I decided to go all-electric when the Tucson lease expired, and I’m glad I did. The IONIQ is an excellent drive — quiet and smooth, with a lot of pep. It handles well and is very comfortable.

I LOVE THIS CAR!

I absolutely love this car! This is my first EV and I couldn’t be more satisfied. It literally is a joy to drive and I find myself taking my dog on more long car rides to nowhere lol! There is not one negative that I have about this car, it runs beautifully. It looks gorgeous charging is a breeze and so far it is a 10 out of 10 for me.

Fun!

Love this car! It’s so much fun to drive. My only issue is that it’s hard to read the control panel where you adjust the temperature, etc. The outside light make creates a glare making it hard to see/read.

Really nice but has room for improvement

Just needs slight quirks fixed like the radio swapping to phone but not automatically back to radio fixed. Not being able to adjust the Ac with cruise control running and not having the car tell you to look at the road. Then the phone charger sucks

overly complicated

it is unnecessary to have (3) different ways to control everything. just more chances for malfunction. computer screen too large and distracting.

I really love it, recommend to my friends

It has a smooth ride and all the controls are very user-friendly. The interior is spacious and the ride height is just right, making road trips super comfortable. I charge it twice a week up to 80% and drive about 400 miles a week. I'm very satisfied with it.
