Subpar vehicle

Buying the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 6 what’s hands down the worst investment I ever made in my life when it comes to a vehicle. Straight from the factory, the vehicle’s window was not sealed and I had to get it resealed. second, and the winner condensation forms inside the car to the point where the dashboard and inside of the windshield get soaking wet from ice forming on the inside of the car. Hyundai does not standby the vehicle, fights tooth and nail against their customers and does not believe them that there is something wrong with the vehicle. This vehicle depreciated and value to the point where you can’t even get rid of it, even if you needed to I can’t wait till my loan period is over, so I can take it to the junkyard and have it smashed. In whole the entire corporation of Hyundai is garbage. I will never buy another one of their vehicles again, nor support any dealership that sells their vehicles.

Good first introduction to electric car

Overall this is a great car. There are three items that really need to be adjusted. First, it is easy to change the lights settings by activating the blinkers. This becomes dangerous because you assume the lights are on auto setting and are actually off. The second item is that it is hard to see/read the panel that shows climate control status. This was mentioned in the CR review of the car. Finally, its really easy to scratch the tire rims of the car.

Good electric car, low maintenance so far.

The only problem I have had is the tires wore out very quickly, at 18k miles they needed to be replaced.

Favorite Car I've Owned!

When i bought this car, I was looking for an all electric sedan that was dependable and good looking. Iwas done with hatchbacks and crossovers. The Ioniq 6 fit what I wanted and more. I still love the car almost 2 years later as I did in week one.

Love the drive--HATE the Dealer / Hyundai--what is going on???

The Ioniq 6 is a blast to drive--great acceleration and handling. However--at least three returns to dealer for Hyundai software updates...we could live with that. Now--a pump leak with damage to electricals in a 2024 car--What??? It's been at the dealer since August 6--over a month and no date for when the car gets fixed and returned. We had a good experience with our previous Hyundai (an Elantra). Our household has two other electric/ plug in hybrid vehicles which have been excellent--a Chevy Volt and a Ford F150 Lightning

Excellent first EV experience!

My iONIQ 6 is the first EV I've purchased and I'm very glad I did. It's reliable, cool-looking, has amazing features and performs excellently. There are a few minor quirks (not related to its being an EV) that drag down my star rating, but I would buy or lease another.

The vehicle within 2 weeks of driving started smokes.

The showroom gave some random reason for smoke, and forced me to continue with a lemon. Then comes 2 recalls, which after leaving in the showroom for 2 weeks, bam, tada, weren't addressed. Reason: random again. Safe for now it seems. Zero stars for reliability on the vehicle and the showroom too. Flimsy vehicle.
