I REALLY like the car, but one thing bugs me!

I've been leasing my Ioniq 6 since May 2025 and I really like the vehicle. It has a great ride, quick to super-quick acceleration, near-luxury car comfort, and more rear legroom than I've seen in the largest Euro, Japanese or American luxury cars. However, it's the PURPORTED driving range of the vehicle that is irritating. It is a dynamic number, based on your most recent driving habits; thus, it's ACTUAL range is unpredictable over about 210 miles. And if you throw "real world" driving (i.e. HILLS, passing, use of the A/C, etc.) that ACTUAL range becomes real guesswork on a long trip. I've taken it between SOCAL and Las Vegas several times, and even though the trip is 240 miles, I can't make it on a single...even though my average speed is about 75MPH. If Hyundai could fix this issue, AND cover my battery and TOTAL DRIVETRAIN for 100K, I'd have no problem keeping this one or leasing another one (if the price was right).

A Great All Around Car

This car has been a joy to own. It costs me less than $2.00 to charge at home to add 150 miles of driving range. The car feels sporty to drive, even in eco mode which is what I drive in over 99% of the time. The interior is spacious enough to seat four 6’ adults rather comfortably. I have driven this car across the country twice. Charging the car at Electrify American rarely takes longer than 20 minutes. I usually charge up to 90%. On those trips I average between 3.5 to 4 miles/kwh. The air conditioning system works wonderfully. Even on the hottest of days here in the Midwest, I find myself having to turn the air down within 5 minutes after startup. That’s after the car has sat in the sunny driveway with highs in the upper 90’s. I find it amazing how well the ac system works. Overall, I would highly recommend this car. In my view the only con is the exterior styling as it looks too much like an egg. But it still has a sporty look so it’s all good.

Really love my car haven't had any problems. One thing I have noticed but it's on every Hyundai that I've ever owned is that the windshield gets pitted very easily. You don't notice it unless you're driving into the sun.

The magnificent Hyundai Ionic 6

We love our Ionic 6. The 2-wheel drive gives great range and plenty of torque. The ride is superb and the cabin is well laid out. Love the regenerative braking which slows the car down without pressing the brake pedal. We get comments on the sporty look.

My 9th car in my lifetime and my most favorite of all!

In my over 50 years of car ownership my Ioniq 6 is my most favorite car of all. Superior technology like self drive, safety and early detection warnings makes driving effortless, relaxing and with a much greater feeling of safety and overall awareness. The cabin is spacious, quiet and comfortable for all occupants. I love the looks and quality both inside and outside, making it a pride to own and drive.

My Hyundai!

This is an excellent car that is very comfortable, roomy inside and it has plenty of get up and go. It drives great and handles very well with a lot of futuristic amenities. It has a great range about 361 miles but is usually better than that. My car is the S.E. which is the cheapest one with the best mileage range.

Great Vehicle !

Great car when it's not in the shop

I have enjoyed this car very much. However, after less than one year, the ICCU unit failed and it took over one month to get it replaced. Love the car and its design but reliability is suspect. No warranty, no matter how long it is, can compensate for being without your car for such a long time.

Love this car so much, it is deceptively fast and blows every gas powered car out of the water. It is incredibly smooth and feels like your driving on skates. Only thing is I wish they updated the technology in it Gen5W is so old.

Love it, sad there's no 2026 Ioniq 6

I love this car! It seems like every EV option in the US today is either a small SUV or some frumpy looking half SUV/half station wagon thing except this car and the model 3/model x but I hate Tesla and really like Hyundai. I'm so disappointed I can't upgrade to a newer Ioniq 6 model year when this lease ends.
