Tustin Dealership worst customer service after purchase

small rear window has spidered during heat wave for no apparent reason other than defect. There are no puncture marks, dings or any marks to indicate it was tampered with. Dealer claims not their responsibility. Car has a total of 59 miles on it and for this to happen is ridiculous.

Car Window Shattered after only three months

I do not recommend at all. My rear window shattered after only three months. I purchased this vehicle completely new. It has been very difficult to find someone to fix it. This was my first car that I bought and I very much regret it. It is not worth buying a car that has windows that will shatter so easily.

Battery problems within the first 200 miles of driving.

My car has been in for a battery replacement for 3 weeks after I had owned it for 2 weeks. Still don't have my new car back and am having to pay for gas which I haven't done in over 4 years as I only drive electric cars. Also They skimped on a few features which was disappointing.

High hopes for this vehicle but safety measures trigger erroneously and I have taken it to the shop multiple times for the same issue which is not resolved. The vehicle is great in all other ways- but these errors make it un driveable

Hyundai is a company sucks

I hate this car because it's still not being repaired and also nobody at the dealership carriage although it's gonna get fixed or not. Overall I should have built a better car most of People I met over the internet with a similar issue are saying the same things and apparently Hyundai just doesn't care about their customers so won't ever be recommending it to any one I know

Do not buy a Hyundai

I have had mine for less than 60 days and it has already been broken into. Insurance will not help and neither will Hyundai. I am left without a car for an indefinite period of time. My insurance deductible is $500 and there is no guarantee this won’t happen again. Even though glass is under warranty Hyundai refuses to cover it because it was a break in. If you’re a customer you will go through hell after dealing with the already traumatic and violating experience of having your car broken into.

Malfunctioning screen

I am unable to use rear view camera or project my phone on the screen, since the screen stopped working 1 month into my ownership of this vehicle, 400 miles. This makes me worry what other electrical problems will I encounter in future and I'm considering trading this car asap.

The car is easy to drive and park, gets decent gas milage. Be aware, apparently, a latch or someway to open the tailgate within the car is not a standard feature which is most inconvenient!

The car is easy to drive and park, gets decent gas mileage, but the inconvenience of having to get out of the car to open the rear tailgate lowers a rating to 2 stars from 5 stars.

2023 Kona within 2 months of purchase had leak in tire, defective radio & horn stopped working!!! A new car should not have this many issues. Makes me regret my purchase. I have had more problems with my new car than work mt 2016.

State of the art cruise control and Apple CarPlay this is NOT!

Cruise control will vary from 12 miles under to 7 miles over setting on hills and dips in road. Apple CarPlay will work if the planets are aligned properly but is unreliable most of the time. Run away from this nightmare of a car!

poor customer service from marketing all the way to service, buyers remorse, stick to toyota or honda to get your moneys worth, hard to get your car service no walk ins, a simple change oil will take 2-3 months, features are not itemized

I loved this vehicle ... until I didn't

I took my vehicle in for a complimentary oil change and rodent damage was found under the hood. Apparently, this is a known issue, but the dealership was not interested in helping find a resolution. While courts have found that the soy-based elements in the engine compartment don't necessarily attract rodents, they are softer than typical plastic parts and easier to chew (and thus damage). I loved this vehicle until I found out about all of this; now I am stressed and quite upset that the manufacturer hasn't taken any preventative steps.

Poor on every aspect

Everything was bad from the start and hasn’t got any better I tried to get out of this car but the resale value isn’t there to get rid of it biggest car mistake I’ve ever made I wish I could back out of this deal the dealership was terrible also!!!

Cute but not worth $35k

This vehicle is nice. Just very basic interior. Blue link and Apple CarPlay both stopped working or didn’t work from the beginning. Tried working with the service dept and no one has actually fixed anything. Walked me through the restart and reboot but all just settled with putting in a “ticket”.

Nice design but terrible handling bad weather

The Kona 2023 is a pretty car, good price. However the handling in rain and on wet and muddy roads is not that great. It feels like it wants to hydroplane or slide. The engine has a ticking or just plain weird noise while running. The radio sounds nice, it has a nice big screen that displays the radio channels, maps, other apps you may want. The alerts letting you know that there is a car coming up besides you or a car is passing behind you while parked is great, but very annoying. The backup camera is clear. I don't think I would purchase another one.

Dealer lured me in with a finance deal and choice of colors, both of which did not exist. Also implied Smart Drive and SCC were the same. Would never have leased without SCC which is necessity at my age.

Seats are the worat

Worst seats for long distance trips. Try going to Pennsylvania but the seats were just the most uncomfortable I have ever driven. Let me say that I have driven many cars even through my 20 years in the military. These are the WORST!
