Rear sensors inhibiting daily driving.

I love this vehicle for all of its practical features; however, the rear sensor automatic stop feature that cannot be turned off permanently is an absolute nightmare when you add on a bike rack or any other rear hitch accessory. It is incredibly inconvenient to have manually turn off this feature each time you start your car, or risk having your vehicle abruptly halt immediately once attempting to reverse. If this feature was able to be turned off permanently in the settings menu, then I would rate this vehicle 5 stars.

Repeated issues with fuel system. Multiple instances of losing acceleration on the interstate. Would not recommend.

Lots of tech and space with average gas mileage

The 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe includes excellent technology, lots of space and average mileage for the size of the vehicle. However, in my experience, it falls short of achieving the EPA stated mileage of 35/34/34 city/highway/average for the AWD (Calligraphy) version.

Hybrid Issue - Not Resolved by Dealers

2 different times the vehicle lurched while going 60+ and would not go more than 25 mph and only at higher RPMs. First time dealer said they fixed it but the resolution made no sense for the symptom. Second time it occurred 800+ miles from my home while on vacation. THey had the car for 3 days and said they couldn't fix it because even though they had an error code, they didn't have enough details. They gave me back my car expecting me to start back for home without resolving the issue. They also refused to reimburse me for the any rental car charges even though I talked with 2 people from National relations that said they would.

We have been back to the dealership numerous times. to deal with drivetrain and hybrid system issues. It seems as though the problems have been taken care of, as we have not had an issue in six months
