Absolutely love my Hyundai Sante Fe Hybrid

I absolutely love my Hyundai Sante Fe Hybrid, especially for the value of the car. It feels very luxurious at a price that isn't out of reach. The gas-mileage is also a game-changer considering how outrageous gas prices are, it saves me money straight away. I could recommend this to everyone.

Stay away from Hyundai cars

Car features are good, if it has issues dealership also cannot fix them, customer has to suffer for the issues caused by poor quality checks by Hyundai. Customer support is the least thing they care for.

Issue: The coffee cup w/ 'consider taking a break' message has a bug

Need to be able to turn off the coffee cup w/ 'consider taking a break' message. I believe there is a software bug that randomly causes the 'consider taking a break' message to display. It may be related to when smart cruise is also being utilized by the driver. Here are few statistics of my recent driving that include date, driving distance, # of occurrences of the message at specific milage, which convey the inconsistency of the message: 9/6/26 15 miles total distance occurred at mile 3 9/3/26 225 miles total distance occurred at mile 3, mile 5, mile 102. Stopped for a break at mile 104 and mile 145. occurred at mile 198 8/30/26 245 miles total distance occurred only at mile 177 8/28/26 135 miles total distance occurred only at mile 25 8/26/26 226 miles total distance occurred at mile 4.5, mile 10, mile 14, mile 17, mile 100, mile 103, mile 122, mile 145, mile 156, mile 166, mile 188, and mile 195 8/25/26 12 miles total distance occurred at mile 4, mile 8, and mile 11

Customer Satisfaction

I enjoy the hybrid feature; however, the silence of the hybrid engine leaves the possibility of NOT shutting the engine off. Twice, I left the vehicle running as I absentmindedly left it. I enjoy the comfort of the drive. I am not satisfied with the shift feature on the steering column. Getting into neutral is not smooth. I think a few of the safety features are more of a nuisance than they are worth. The door lock feature is an aggravation. I would prefer a door push button feature versus the key or the outside door handle thumb touch.
