Difficult for gravel & ice

The outside of the vehicle requires a lot of upkeep in the winter in areas of snow and ice as well as during the summer for those who are rural and live on gravel/mud. Also, having full moon roof in areas that are prone to large hail, not the best.

Great SUV.

Economical, quiet smooth ride, stylish. Feels larger than all the other SUVs (including Honda, Kia and Toyota) I test drove and researched. Overall a good buy.

Great Car - a few minor issues

Overall the car has been great. The hybrid switching between EV mode and the engine is mostly smooth and unnoticeable except for when stopped on a steeper hill. Then the switch lags a little and the car jerks forward awkwardly. Gas mileage has been great. 34-35 in the winter and 39-40 in the summer months. The features in the Limited model are excellent including the panoramic sunroof and touchscreen, but I would love to see the Heads-up technology added to the Tucson. I miss it after switching from the Limited Santa Fe to the Limited Tucson Hybrid. The rear cup holders are much too small in diameter to hold a cup. They only work for slim plastic water bottles. Lastly, the backup alert sound is obnoxiously loud. I would love to be able to turn it down just a little. I live and work in an urban setting and I'm fairly certain it wakes people if I'm leaving early in the morning.

Mostly good, some not so good

Very comfortable, excellent fuel economy for the size and very nice creature comforts on the flipside, extremely clunky, regenerative, breaking, no wireless support for iPhone, and the door gaskets are wearing out after only two years.

Great Vehicle

Love all the cameras and safety features and the car is easy to drive. Am also very happy with the dual screens. Would like to turn down the volume on the back-up as it can be very obnoxious. Am not comfortable with the battery shutting off if the car stands for 6 to 7 days.

Very happy customer

I love her! She's easy to drive, with user-friendly technology and great gas mileage. My only qualm is the lack of dull leather interiors. Especially for a sports line where you are encouraged to get outdoors, a leather interior makes clean-up much easier, and for the trim (sunroof, heated seats, upgraded speakers) it really should have leather seats.
