Great Gas Mileage, a Superb Infotainment System, & Wonderful Features!

I’ve owned this fantastic SUV for 18 months and have driven nearly 17 thousand miles. I’ve averaged an outstanding 33.1 miles per gallon. I love the fact I get the benefits of a hybrid without having to plug in my Tucson. The engine purrs when the gas is running the engine, and is quiet as a mouse when the battery is controlling the engine. I love the infotainment screen built sleekly into the dash—it’s the nicest I’ve ever seen. The smart cruise, automatic drive, and lane assist make highway driving both fun and safe. The AWD handles snow well. Additionally, the exterior design is flawlessly sleek. The Hyundai Tucson Hybrid is the finest vehicle I’ve ever owned. And that’s saying a lot since I’ve previously owned automobiles manufactured by Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Ford, and Nissan.

I mostly like my Tucson Hybrid

I love my gas mileage at 44 mpg. I love the big trunk that fits my Dads big walker. I don’t like the very large right side mirror. When I make right turns it makes it difficult to see past it.

25 Tucson hybrid review

Would like a smoother and quieter IC engine. Would like better fuel mileage. Very much dislike the tranny shifter. It often will not kshift into the gear selected when done quickly!!!

15K in a Tucson Hybrid

Unless you Opt for the Limited, and add accessories, numerous common features are lacking No rear backup or forward warning indicator for poles , obstacles, curbs etc. No built in garage door system. No spare tire. The shift lever is difficult and dangerous in auto car wash. You have to put your foot on the brake to shift from Neutral to drive at the end of the wash with a car moving on the track immediately behind you.
