Smooth and Quiet Vehicle, Fantastic Tech and Features

Excellent vehicle. Smooth and extremely quiet composed ride. Acceleration when needed is fantastic. Much more responsive then the gas only counterpart. Tech features available are second to none in the class as well! Fantastic vehicle.

An overall delight to drive!

An overall delight to drive! It does need a few more transmission gears to better maintain it's high gas mileage figures. The transmission does struggle a bit when driving in the mountains. I know this is very controversial but I think a high quality CVT would do a much better job than the current six speed does. The all wheel drive system works excellent in mud and snow. I've driven a little over 22000 miles so far with minimal issues. The horns needed to be replaced and it won't accept OTA updates at the moment for some reason. Neither of these issues caused any driveability problems.

Intuitive features and great safety features

A major selling point was the information screen. Very tastefully placed. Not too big but large enough to easily read. Instructions are intuitive. Lane detection and control is great. Having choices for lane change blinkers in addition to the safety distance of the car in front is nice. All the features for the back seat individually controlled is unique among all other car brands we have had or ridden in. We bought the hybrid to save money on fuel but haven't saved as much as we thought. MPG is better than an all gas vehicle but not as much as we thought it would be. Smooth ride but the front seats could be a little softer, most noticeable on long drives. The only challenge we continue to have is the smart start. Two phones worked fine but we had to replace a part to get the key fobs to work again. Once we had the ability to control features via our phones or use the fobs one of our phones was knocked out again with the most recent software update.

Great Car (With One Big Exception)

I've been very happy with this car. Premium feel, great styling, comfortable, great tech and fun to drive. The only issue (and it's a huge one) is that the automatic breaking engages when it should not - extremely dangerous when it does. Hyundai just issued a recall on the front camera software that is causing this issue, so hopefully it will be fixed...but I've been complaining about this for a year and the recall is just happening. Otherwise, a really great car.

2025 Tucson Hybrid Ltd Awd - Elect/Water issues, awful customer care

The 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited Awd seemed to be a solid vehicle and well-built. The ride is extremely pleasant and with well controlled suspension to make the sensation much more luxurious. The fit and finish of the interior and exterior do not show any signs of misaligned pieces or panels. And there is not a single squeak or rattle from the interior. The hybrid system is quite pleasant however, I can't seem to get it to coast in Electric mode on the highway or on local streets as much as I would like to. Maybe the battery pack is too small because I have driven a 2026 Elantra Hybrid and there is a better split with power management and the Electric mode starts nearly every single time when pulling away from a stop. The vehicle has a lot of tech that can put to shame many vehicles costing twice as much.

Nice vehicle but electronics failed completely

We purchased the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and after about 2400 miles, the HUD would mysteriously turn off, then the entire dash would blank out and all electronics seemed to be unavailable. How would you feel about it? It took 3 months from the problem first being shown (yes, the blank dash on a running vehicle was shown to the service manager that first time) because the dealer took the car that first time and could not recreate the intermittent issue. We took the car back and a month later had 30+ incidents with exact mileage and whether accelerating, braking, etc. The dealer decided to replace a harness, but it took over a month for the harness to arrive and then 3 weeks to get the harness installed. Once we got the car back, we drove it for a couple of months until the first warm day and a long (6 hour) trip. That's when we found that the AC wasn't working. Turns out the tech didn't connect the harness properly, so another trip to the dealer to get that fixed (luckily it only took the full day). We've had about 1500 more miles on the car since then, so too early to tell if the problem is truly fixed or what else may have been broken by the work, but fingers crossed. So, nice car, but if you get a lemon, be prepared for a long time to get it fixed.

I like it!

Overall very pleased and feel the Car is a good value. I have had no mechanical or maintenance issues for first 18 months. The Safety Technologies are impressive. The Hybrid technology works seamlessly - I am getting 30-33 MPG.

I don’t think I will buy another one

I Am not pleased with the vehicle overall. It is nice to drive, but the safety features are over the top and way too sensitive. And, there is no way to adjust that. Every time there is an update it takes away all my settings and I have to start all over setting the dashboard and my phone. I have to delete my phone and add it again each time. I was not that happy with your parts and service either. Your parts department even made a comment when I complained by saying oh well that’s just Hyundai. And why are there so many updates? The car is a 2025 and I have had at least 5 updates. Also, I have only had 1 servicing because they told me I can’t bring it back because I don’t have enough miles yet send me emails telling me I am overdue for service. WTH!
