2026 HYUNDAI Tucson SEL-C Hybrid

I bought my 2026 Tucson Hybrid in May of 2026. So far I love this SUV. I compared it to the other SUVs in the Compact SUV class. The Tucson in my opionion is the best SUV in this class. I appreciate the 6-speed automatic transmission as compared to the E-CVT transmissions in the competitors' models. I prefer the turbocharged gas engine in the Tucson compared to the non turbocharged, noisier engines in the RAV4-Hybrid, CRV-Hybrid, Outback non hybrid and CX-5 non hybrid SUVs. The Tucson is the most spacious SUV along with the CRV and Outback but I prefer the interior design and dashboard displays in the Hyundai by far.

2026 Tucson Hybrid

This car is even better than my 2022 Tucson Hybrid model. I had over 140,000 miles on my 2022 with only an AC issue that was repaired under warranty and besides that was an excellent car. So far my 2026 seems even better! I really like the new display layout and it seems the AC was upgraded as it cools better and faster. The 2022 model handled well but I think the 2026 actually handles a little better. The safety features are excellent.

Love it!

99% love. A couple little snags that have worked themselves out. Love the driving experience. It's so smooth. All of the "assistants " are really helpful. Especially the heads-up display and the parking assist.

2026 3000 mile Tuscan Limited Review

Overall excellent but few areas need improvement. Driving mode selector poorly located. Easy to bump when accessing other options changing drive mode . Indicator lights very small and difficult to see if off or on, i.e. recirculate indicator. When set up for more then one driver profile, system doesn't always easily allow to select passenger phone and passenger map program, one driver profile uses android and one uses Apple. Overall when multiple profiles exists there are a lot of issues, confusion and frustration.

Don't like computer telling me to check back seats or take a break, etc. Mickey Mouse. Don't like constant tracking. Don't like car turning on to blow out vents. Loved 2009 Tucson, not this one. Keep it simple!

Good Car, but Issues

We are enjoying our new Hyundai Tucson hybrid, but as with any new vehicle, we've encountered idiosyncrasies. Overall the operation of the vehicle seems overly complicated, but that is probably a function of all the electronic options. The manual is not completely clear either, i.e. it can be difficult to find various elements.

Unhappy

The paint is already peeling and chipping off the front of my car. Service said they will replace the H symbol but the othet areas are from rocks hitting paint. Lol ive had my car less than 4 months. I drive on highway everyday and my kia never had a paint chip issue. The fact that hyundai wont fix the paint damage is extremely disappointing and I will never buy another hyundai and I buy a new car every 3 years.
