Amazing and smooth ride

+This vehicle is a wonderful addition to my list. I have been driving my father's Audi and my Tuscan is a much smoother ride. Love the hybrid function as gas prices are WAY too high lately. The bells and whistles are fun and exciting to experiment with. Most of them are great and really help with safety while driving. -The connectivity with my Android phone, maps, music, and other functions has been a huge problem. I have called the main customer service line and we have just not been able to figure out why it does not automatically connect. EVERY SINGLE TIME I get into my car and start it, I have to log out of my phone (disconnect), then reconnect before I am able to use the maps, pandora, etc. Very frustrating. Also, sure wish the sunroof would open all the way instead of only half way. It would also be nice if I could manually or with the switch, tell the cover to the sunroof to open or close and how much. It is either all the way open, or all the way shut. When I use the bluelink Hyundai to try to unlock the doors, it takes sometimes up to 4-5 min to actually unlock the door. This could be a safety problem if someone was walking up to me in the dark and I needed to get into my car quickly. The braking system, when I have the auto-lane and slowing down automatically when there is a car in front of me does not really work. It waits till we are almost hitting the car in front of me before it slows down. This also affects my driving record as it says I slam on the brakes too much. I really can not use that feature. The console where my elbow is works fine as far as location, but the extended part where the cups go really takes much of the room in front away. I am unable to lean over to the glove compartment as it is very bulky and in the way. Would have much more room if it was not so high and forward.

Drives nice so far, but some "hinky" features

I have jus 6400 miles on, so far it handles and drives well but some features I don't care for. Seats are not as comfortable as my last car and I HATE the winshield wiper placement, you can't pull them up in freezing weather. I miss the "hands free" un-lock when your hands are full coming from the store, I have to fish out fob and press the button to unlock my doors, they should unlock when I walk up next to it and have the fob on my person. The back gate release is also slow.

Pleased with Gas Hybrid Tuscon

This is my 3rd Hyundai Tucson. First was totaled after 2 years and about 75,000 miles. My 2011 gas Tucson got me 420,000 before needing lots of attention. I investigated Toyota, Honda and Kia compatible vehicles, but Hyundai still came out on top. Still getting used to all of the new features in modern cars, but in four months I have already driven more than 10,000 miles and am very happy with every feature so far.
