Dependable and sure footed
Bought our Sorento new in 2003. Long trips, short trips, rain, sun, sleet, and snow our Sorento has taken us there and, just as importantly, has brought us home safely and without any problems along the way. At 87,000 miles we have had to replace the battery and the heater core. Even though I don't believe there was anything wrong with that heater core to this day. It was replaced when I took it in for routine maintenance and, later, the tech say the heater core was bad, leaking and not putting out heat. It was putting out heat just fine when I brought it in. It was cold that morning and I used it the whole time without any indication of a core fault. I think they got me on that one. Timing belt has also been replaced once. Vehicle has been awesome for me in the snow. Never slipped once in 17 years!
