Major Disappointment

Our car was 5000 miles over our 60,000 warranty when the engine failed due to cylinder malfunction. KIA refused to even consider our request to help repair the car. Because we were the second owner the 100,000 Mike warranty did not apply to our issue.

Kia dealer is terrible

My 2017 Kia Sorento has had some issues I brought it to the dealer several times with issues using the apple play features and not once did they make any effort to contact the manufacturer for help and told there was no issue when there clearly was since I was still having simple texts like ok which the car was unable to convert to speech and it also prevented me from answering my phone so I had to pullover and disconnect my phone a apple i7 . I also had an issue with my emergency brake not hold on hills but they found nothing wrong with it stating it worked as it should...! Also had a rumbling noise in the rear and of course they didn’t hear anything so I would not be buying another one and last they drop in value very quickly.....☝️

Issue after issue

I will never buy another Kia. These cars are horribly made and will cost you thousands in repairs. This vehicle is only 6 years old. Less than 82k miles and I have to replace the engine and that’s with routine maintenance. Never again!

I love this vehicle, and all of its features. I have one complaint which is how my Sorento handles in a cross wind. I believe it has to do with the higher profile of the 19 inch wheels.

Great SUV.....but

Vehicle ride is great but have issue with electronic power steering when it’s cold. It shuts off making it impossible to steer manually. There is NO fix for it since it always works at the dealer and they can’t replicate the issue. The problem is it’s been an issue for years on some cars.

Kia Sorento

I looked around for alot of vehicles & the Kia had alot more room than all of the other AUV types of cars I looked at. I was glad I chose the Kia. Also, the Sorento has all the extras on too of the room is has. I never had a Kia before but I am now convinced Chevy & Ford dont have the best vehicles anymore.

Overall very satified

Bought mine used in 2020. Dislikes: Gas mileage is never close to what they claim it should be. Have had some minor quality control and design issues. One of the outside plastic door handles broke off. The windshield wiper system sprung a leak somewhere and you would need to be an airplane mechanic to take out all the stuff blocking view of every part and aspect to fix it. The front passenger seat sit way too low and has no adjustment. My poor wife has to have padding the size of a booster seat just see out the window. It's developing transmission slippage. Most these issues will be looked at soon by the dealer. Likes: Great looks, aggressive styling, nice dash and instrument layout, seats seven, can tow up to 5000 lbs (better than ALL 6 cylinder trucks I looked at), lots of room, all-wheel-drive is responsive, quiet and smooth, great performance for its class and size, easy to use back-up camera and guide. I've used it twice for pulling small travel trailers with zero issues. Overall I'd say it's as good of a deal as you can get in a medium sized SUV/crossover.

Kia Performs well

I have the TGI model and the turbo is great. The ride is smooth very comfortable. Power seats (a must for short people), and with heat are awesome. And I love the telescoping steering wheel so I can see out the front windshield. I’m short 5”2”so there are a few things that could be improved. The visor when pulled down blocks 1/2 of the rear view mirror. Although the side mirrors are nice. Where they are positioned on the vehicle leaves short people with 0 visibility making left hand turns. All I see even with the seat adjusted for my height is the car frame and the mirror frame. Blocking clear visibility on left hand turns. But I learn to adapt over time. Back up cameras are great option too. There is plenty of room and seats are really comfortable. If the seatbelt was positioned a little different to also accommodate shorter person it would a more comfortable ride. Really love all the storage in the back. Our “Boxer” can ride comfortably in the back too. The titanium color hardly shows dirt so you don’t have to wash it as often. Overall it looks luxurious, drive smooth and quiet, and has lots of room. That’s why my husband picked it for me. Might be nice to have a few women involved in the design process.

Nice Ride

This model was not designed for a 5 ft female. Side mirrors block vision making left hand turns. Visor blocks rear view mirror when pulled down. Tilt steering wheel is hard to adjust. But I’m use to it now.

My new car

I bought this vehicle so I could put seats down and sleep in it when camping in early spring and fall when it's too cold for me on the ground,just used it when it was 35 degrees,i was toasty warm.like the gas mileage too.

Kia Sorento LX 2017

What a awesome vehicle . Has good acceleration and still a 4 cyl. Beautiful trim accents on interior and bodystyle is sleek I love the chrome trim and looks amazing on the Platinum graphite color

Best SUV for the money!

After researching for months, we arrived at our decision on the Sorento. With AWD and a V6 option, 3rd row seating, we didn't need to go with the more expensive EX version as the LX came with everything we needed and wanted. Great fuel economy, roomy for family trips and comfortable. Top it all off with the 200,000 mile warranty...we finally have a vehicle we don't need to worry about.

2017 Kia Sorento FWD L Model

We purchased the Kia Sorento FWD L model in September of 2016. We were actually just looking at vehicles. The Kia impressed us due to its outstanding ratings/reviews in Consumer Reports and carsoup etc. We learned that it is made in West Pointe Georgia with US steel. We liked that alot as we live on the Iron Range in Minnesota. So far so good. It gets good gas mileage - 30 + mpg. We traded in a 2012 Chev Captiva SUV and our car insurance went down due to the safety ratings of the Kia Sorento. It's roomy, rides quiet, and looks great. We are pleased so far.

Kia Sorento

I was leary of giving up my Chevy Traverse because I have liked it so well. But after driving the Sorento, I was sold. It handles very well. It is just as roomy as the Traverse. The kids say it has more leg room in the second row seating area.

Very spacious, and comfortable; surprisingly sporty for the size!

Love how much room this SUV has. We love the look, the get up and go, and also the options... just the right amount of tech!
