Grand old car

Since I bought this Taurus I've had great luck. Of course as it grew older things begin to happen and I worry about not getting parts, but the mechanics seem to be able to get them. It has been recommended not to sell this car until it never runs again.

It just won't die. Been a great rig.

Had a transmission issue at around 80k. Other than that it has only had the usual things go out. It's at 200k now and still drives great. I'd recommend a sealed starter because oil drips from the filter right on the starter when changing the filter. Went through a starter in a relatively short time and replaced it with a sealed unit. Easy job I was able to do in the parking lot with a few wrenches and a jack. Would recommend as a cheap used vehicle.

2005 Ford Taurus. Never again.

My car is a piece of junk. It's rusted out. Runs like crap. Put in about 4,000dollars and I only paid 2200. For it . I ßhould have gone with my gut and I wouldn't have bought it. I sure will never buy a Ford again.

Reliable

I’ve only had this car for not even two years, but I have been pleased with it. Handles well. Comfortable. Not too expensive to repair, if you get a good mechanic. Don’t go to dealership. That was the only time I was ripped off.

What I think of my 2005 Ford Taurus Sedan.

I like my 2005 Ford Taurus Sedan and have taken goid care of it since I purchased it in 2009 used. It has had the majority of its service done at B.A.T. BOYS since I have owned the car with the exception of the time I lived in Colorado and I had my nephew to do the work on it as he is a licensed Ford mechanic . I don't let just anyone work on my vehicles. I have had work done on my 2001 Chevy Astro at B.A.T. BOYS and was planning on having more work done on it but not until things on the Taurus is cleared up satisfactory.

The old 1998 Ford Taurus station wagon was totaled in an accident some years back. Current 2005 Ford Taurus sedan is great.

The old 1998 Ford Taurus station wagon was totaled in an accident some years back. Current 2005 Ford Taurus sedan is great - very dependable and steady. It handles well and is good on gas. Safe car to drive.
