Comfortable, fuel efficient, quiet. Accommodates family members 5'2" to 6'2" with ample head and leg room. Shift from 1st to 2nd gear (automatic) a bit rough Infotainment system somewhat excessive to desire or need

Great vehicle but

I love my Elantra HEV but there are a few things that could be improved on. The first thing is the Bluetooth is horrible. It cuts in and out anytime I try to use it. The second is the usb port is loose and half the time doesn’t work. The 3rd is the speakers are not very loud even all the way up. A better sound system would be great. The last thing is the fuel economy is no where near what the sticker says even on 55 mile a hour roads. The positives are it does get pretty good fuel economy, the technology, and the safety equipment is awesome. I love having blind spot, lane keep, and lane follow. The back up camera is clear.

2 disappointments

owned 2023 and own a 2024, mileage is way off. by time it idles in the morning. it goes from 48.2 mpg to 27.3 mpg, 2023 didn't do this. it will say 547 miles till empty, I can drive 5 miles and not go over 30 mph and will down to 515. after of dealing with this for a year, they replaced the battery. the battery went dead 3 time in 9 months and it's always after service, not to mention service doesn't know anything, I was greeted what's up bro when I picked up my car on 9/15/2025 and my car wasn't washed, both seats were so far back, I thought they were sleeping in it. I'm 60 years old , have had several new cars, I have a 2021 Volvo, never had any issues, 2 Hyundai Elantra's and all kinds of issues Just own up to the issues, I lose money every time my car is in your shops, would never buy another car Has Hyundai reached out to me, or management of the dealership, NO, disappointing, going to ask on tik Tok if anyone has had similar issues, I can't be alone, this ALL explains the 100 mile and 10 year warranty

2 hyundai Elantra hev , 2023 and 2024.

disappointed with 2023 and 2024. 2024, battery dead after 1st oil change, year later, they just replaced the battery, still have issues at Huntington Beach Hyundai. I'm 60 years old and never had this many issues with a new car. I've done reviews before, never heard back from anyone from corporate or management from Huntington Beach Hyundai, nobody cares, going to make a tik Tok video to find out if someone else has had the same issues

Overall the car is a good buy. I don't like how the engine revs so hard when it switches from hybrid, i can't stand the "take a break" feature, but i do like the MPG and the comfort

I love my car

The ride on this car is smooth and comfortable. I love the styings on the car. The mileage is one of my favorite points. I often get 59.6 miles to the gallon. The safety features including the door being unlocked, back-up camera, collision avoidance, etc. are definite strengths.

Poor worksmanship

Started off good love it. Gas mileage wasn’t the rated 50-55mpg, the air conditioner broke down d/t faulty radiator. The door stopped opening or locking. Made lots of trips to the dealer now I know why you offer extended warranty.

A tech heavy commuter

I drive this Elantra hybrid limited 100 miles a day to work. I appreciate the driving assistance tech. The commute is much less fatiguing. I don't appreciate they removed features from the hybrid limited that the gas limited has. The cabin noise is a bit much. The tires that come on it make more noise than an all terrain tire on a truck. The electric drive motor combined with the DCT transmission work extremely well together. I put 25k miles on it in the first year of ownership.
